Got the perfect bye set up. Thoughts?

Sabretooth Tigers

Interesting team, but did you do it purely for the bye make up, or a combination of that and scoring capacity ? Perhaps 11 keepers and not a great capacity for high scores. IMO. Thanks for the tip on Armstrong, will watch him in the NAB.
Def is ok, the mid will depend on rookie form which you'll obviously take in to account. We definitely disagree on
the rucks but strangely enough I like the Luey and Kreuzer combination, especially if the K gets a mid/half forward type role. IMO Franklin, Rioli and Brown could blow the opposition away this season and reckon you need two out of Zaharakis, Sidebottom or Varcoe to show a big improvement or your forward line will be very dependant on the first 3. Nice team but a bit thin on premiums for mineand perhaps a bit draining on trades. Having said that it'll probably take out the 50k. Cheers and good luck.
7.5/10.

Thanks :)
What Ive done is get the players that are essential, then build in rookies and midpricers to create a team that is ideally prepared for byes.
Kreuzer needs to fire this year. He has so much potential, a full season and he will explode. Same with the BERGER.
Id like a few more premiums but Im one for taking risks so picked a few players who have potential. I might trade Zaha for Lake/Armstrong. Thanks again!

gotheroos!

slightly unique, yet good team!
defence: amazing. maybe a bit too much money spent. dg one of grimes / lake to a rookie.
mids are ok, but i'd use the money saved from defence to upgrade one of barlow / ziebell to a gun mid (murphy/swan/nds, etc) probably get rid of ziebell as he's suspended for first few games
nicnat is a gamble, but could pay off! i'd personally go for a more consistent pick ,but doesn't really matter
forwards line is good. franklin, nroo, sbottom, dangerfield brown ok. don't double up on adel so trade porps to a rookie to save cash to upgrade mids

overall good. 8+/10

Nice team.
Rucks are strong but not sure if strong enough for their price. If your going to spend 500+ on ruckman I believe Sandilands is a better option than burga as he is overpriced at 550k. Maybe Sandilands and an upgrader to save money and upgrade to burga after 4-6 weeks as I think he'll drop to 460k. Strong team

bomberboy0618

I personally think that with Clark gone, Burger will up his average.
Thanks for the advice!

Heroes121

Nice team

Not too sure on some of the rookies but i guess we just wont know till NAB cup.

Defense: can be considered a bit to strong, could possibly downgrade Heppell but up to you. I personally dont like to go with 2nd year players until they can show me they can do it consistenly again.

Mid: With some of the money from heppell you could upgrade Ziebell to a top priced player that can gaurentee 100,s everyweek. Someone like Swan, Dal Santo or Murphy.

Rucks: You can get alot better rucks for not much more than that price. If you still have enough money left from heppell you could upgrade to a Sandilands, Mumford combo. If you dont have enough you could always downgrade Porplyzia for a bit of extra cash to complete the trade.

Forward: As i said you could downgrade Porplyzia to get those rucks. This might even have 100,000 left over where you can do a small upgrade somewhere else from one of your 400,000+ dollar players to a 500,000+ player.

Thanks.
Ziebell has to stay. He will average 100.
What's wrong Berger and NicNat? Should both average 100.
I like the strong backs, as I have taken a couple of risks there so need to balance that out.
I think Porps has more js than any rookie for me, and should score higher than the rookies.
Thanks for your feedback.

I like the Zieball and NicNat picks. Dont no about J.McDonald starting also Koby Stevens will he get games? Nice side though

8.8/10

TheMailman

Why would you be worried about Mcdonald starting?

He'll basically be an onballer for the first year at least

yeh i guess so

bomberboy0618

Stevens is the new Shuey.

Ringo

Nice Team BB with some uniques.
The concerns with both Lake and Grimes have been documented so will not comment further.
Like the selection of Danger as crows have a relatively easy draw and if he is to really break out surely this will be the year,
Obviously Rookies may change as a result of NAB cup.

8.5/10 and good luck hope you pull off some good scores especially for exlam league.
