Katich won't get back into the team. Not now.
PB if you looked at it properly you'd see it was a good deal wide of his body and came back in late. Not n00bish.

im not sure you would have played the shot warner got out on any differently

if you were in the same position

What i'm saying is he thought of playing a shot, which is what aggressive players do (Look to score off everything) He didn't drop his hands, and that caused the fall of his wicket. Yes it cut back into him, but he was too lazy and it cost him.

Reece Young got 12 stitches. Ouch!

No he can't. IMO.
Who would you suggest should be in his place?

Bout time they gave the chance to people that have worked hard over their careers, performed extremely well, yet have been overlooked. Stuff this youth policy.

I reckon Michael Klinger should be given a chance.
So a 31 y.o that's probably not as good deserves a spot because he 'worked hard'

Jesus, this isn't Milo Cricket C4 :-X
But the thing is, he's better. Not worse. He and a few others are in the same situation as Hodge was in... A guy waits years and years to get a spot in the team while this guy who's barely proven himself at First Class level get's in straight away.

There are reasons these guys don't get a spot Q.
For one reason or another they can't cut it at this level or they just aren't the best player for the position.

He's not better. Warner is a hell of a lot better than you seem to think he is.

Who are you to say if he can't cut it?  ???  If they gave him a chance, maybe we'd know. But they haven't, so, you can't comment on whether or not he can cut it.

Plus next thing you know, you're going to say that Warner is a better 4-day opener than Chris Rodgers.

Young back on but he has a helmet now :P

Look C4, obviously you don't rate Warner. I do and I think we need a player like him in the team. They're not going to debut a 31 y.o while the team is in the position it's in at the moment. Yes Hussey was the same age but we were far and away the best team in the world at the time.

Right now we need youth and Mickey has openly said he'd like to play the kids.

Don't get me wrong, I rate Warner, just not at test level.

He's a thug batsman with no patience. Makes him a perfect T20 and ODI batsman. But he's not a test batsman.

roo boys!

Haddin falls for 80. Shame he couldn't ton up :(, but still a very impressive innings :)

Credit to Starc too, chugging along...

Australia all out for 427.

That gives us a lead of 132.

Here's hoping we can take a couple quick wickets before stumps!

Go Australia!! ;D ;D

roo boys!

Especially Starcy ;)

Your new favourite player there rb?? ;)

I'm annoyed thay Chris Martin didn't get a bowl at the end. I needed him to take 5 for him to have the best figures of the game so far, and i can't see someone taking 5 in Australias 2nd dig, unless they fall for 47 again. ;D ;D

roo boys!

Not new PB ;) Has been since I first saw him bowl.
