Even if Warner makes a big score and hughes fails in the second innings?
Hughes will play the first Indian test. So unless they drop someone else and push Warner or Hughes down the order...

Maca24

I think if Warner scores big today then Hughes will get dropped...

bomberboy0618

What I dont understand is that if Hughes has had such a long period of being in the team when he wasnt performing why will Warner be dropped after 2 tests when he has been batting better than Hughes?

if not more :P

PowerBug

Newspaper today said Watto won't be fit for the first test against India. I think Hughes will go, Christian will come in, Khawaja to 2, Ponting to 3, Christian the AR at 6.

Problem solvered.

bomberboy0618

Id rather have Marsh at no3 than Christian tbh.

pyronerd

PB, you are forgetting one thing, the selectors :P

This is so boring, I wish Ponting and Khawaja could hit the ball >:O

And I think Warner is still a bit behind hughes atm :-\

Are you flowering serious.  No way is Warner behind Hughes, at least Warner has scored some runs.

bomberboy0618

I thought cricket was about playing and missing, and then when you finally hit the ball check if your bat has broken :P.

Dont bother. Logic and reason seem to go out the window in the Hughes v Warner argument.
I would have sent out Haddin, got him to knock up 30-40, instead of wasting all this time then getting out cheaply.
