Solid team for now and the future.

Long tail Maca, and remember Watson can bowl so you have 6 bowlers there and only 1 spinner.

If we are going to name teams then I might as well :P

1. Phil Hughes - Good young opener who will get better. Did well in SA
2. Usman Khawaja - Shane Watson can't open with the huge responsibilty he already has. Khawaja has great temperament
3. Shaun Marsh - Good player when he comes back from injury. Replaces Ponting when he retires in the near future
4. Michael Clarke - He's a knob. However, he's also had years of training under the greats of 05-06 so he deserves his spot.
5. Michael Hussey - Still got stuff in him. How much I don't know
6. Shane Watson - This position suits him much better. He doesn't have to stress out as much
7. Brad Haddin - Until he retires he should keep his spot. He can bat well and can keep well. Paine/Wade to come in later
8. Mitchell Johnson - Can do everything and nothing. Too good all rounder wise to leave out
9. Pat Cummins - Don't know how well he can bat. But he can Bowl  ::)
10. Mitchell Starc - This is the spot I'm not so sure about so I'll leave it up to discussion.
11. Nathan Lyon - Need a spinner somewhere

No offense Cic but that team is rubbish. Those are the players who are performing at Domestic level I think you are forgetting 2 things:

A) There are players performing in the side - You have dropped 3/4 of the team
B) There is a fair gap between International and Aussie Domestic.

I still remember the game where Haddin and Ferguson were on fire in a ODI, smoking every ball. Scored 15 an over in the powerplay. I want Ferguson to play, but he's 30. I think.

that is why i have henriques in my side as the all rounder to bowl in place of Watson
