Cox and Leu, but now that I look at it, the byes will kill. All the top ruckmen have the bye on the same round ...

Jimbo_11

i reckon leuy and mummy would be the best combo

luey is doing it on his own, dont think hudson will get too many games
same goes for mummy, even though seaby is capable replacement but he didnt play at all this year
hmac will probably take away from goldy's score a little bit, neither will really score much down forward because of petrie
not sure about cox atm, will see how he goes preseason, id be looking at nicnat to make a huge scoring improvement
sandi is probably a little past his best, will still score 80-90ish, and im concerned with ross lyon saying that jon griffin is a 'necessity'

This is for me the hardest decision for next year, we've been blessed with some great choices in the ruck. I think Goldy will be a great choice but whats H-macs deal? surely if both fit they will share the ruck so Goldy wont be scoring quite as high although still at a prem level.

For me at the moment I still have Cox and Sandi, subject to change 10000 times before season starts of course ;)

what movie is your gif from Cusrtard?  8)

me

none of the above

i'm going to be going with mcintosh/west or vardy, with giles on the interchange they should be able to pull in enough points

Brisbane wouldnt of recruited hudson if they didnt plan in him playing. so obviously leuy wont be doing it alone.. Same goes for seaby. reason he didnt play last year is because he was injured. They wouldnt of recruited him if they didnt need him. Every club needs 2 playing ruckmen. Otherwise they break down. Whether one plays 80% to the others 12%, each club plays 2 guys who ruck if available.

If you plan on winning or atlease ranking highly in the overall rankings then having two of Cox, the Burger or Goldie would mean that both of your starting rucks are missing for their bye in Round 11. This would mean that you would have to play both of your back up ruckman which is dangerous. Same with Sandiland and Mummy in Round 12.

I think my potential ruck combo is Jacobs and Mumford.

I think its a great thing for dreamteam that the ruck selections are so open this year as people are finally becoming aware of Sandilands durability isuues.

Anyone considering Zac Smith? Surely can only improve on what was already a solid effort from last year...

A bit pricey, but why not? In the top 7-8 ruckmen in the comp in 2011 (first half of the year anyway), I'm sure he can step it up another level

I'd have thought he'd be a good shot to average 85+ which is pretty good at his price.

Ziplock

mmmm, I don't think I would be punting on him.

I think he'll be a bit of a disappointment in his second year, a think a big reason he did so well was because he was 21 this year on debut, not 19 and so had a bigger and more mature body.

He might improve a little... but... not for me.

Cox and Sandilands are the best 2 scoring ruckman in the league.

Who dares not pick them in 2012?

I garuntee you Cox and Sandilands will both be in the top 3 scoring rucks of 2012, new or different is not always better.

I just think Cox will gradually start finding it a bit harder now - last year he was a no brainer at a slight discount but it might be the first time in a while I leave him out. Sandi and either Berger or Glodstein for me although Smith is still tempting.
