Im with ya Holz, but i'l be paying close attention during the Nab Cup before locking him in.

He needs to go to the wing like Richo did in his twilight years before Ill get him in.
I wont be getting him unless Fev is playing next to him either.
Has lost a yard or 2 in burst speed, opposition knows the saints always look for him, so very often its 1 v 3 when the ball goes near him.
The ship has sailed.

egosbar

i agree the ship has sailed on him , i initially was going to give him one more year but at the risk of being wrong didnt last past the first draft of my team

Speculator

He is pretty close to a lock for me. I'm also going with Brown and Didak. Is that crazy? If they all return to 2010 averages I will be a genius

Grazz

Im probably going with Brown aswell. Didak will depend on what Bucks has planned for him and Roo's future with me will rest on his Nab form in 2012 before he's locked.

Speculator

I'll be selecting Riewoldt regardless of nab form, have a look at his averages year on year. It can't be ignored.

The zone and his knee must cause you some concern. Priced ok if he can conquer those two issues.

Speculator

What evidence is there that the zone caused his demise? I would put much more faith in the reason for his slump being the knee (which he has had cleaned up). So long as he looks in reasonable nick in the preseason I'll be happy to select him and I hope everyone else is scared off because of last year. I think the chances of this guy being in the top 7 forwards is very high. His sustained record of excellence as a forward over a long period of time is almost unrivalled. But please don't let me change your mind, pick Dangerfield

Grazz

I wont be picking Danger you can take that to the Bank, I think the zone has played a small part in this years form but i agree with you i think his knee was the major contributing factor. He needs to be able to run his opponents into the ground, its a significant part of his armory. If his Nab form looks good and he's running freely then i will be jumping on again. Ive been playing this caper for 5 years and ive never gone into a season without him.

Speculator

Well I think that's very smart Grazz. Looks like a heap of coaches will be jumping off in 2012, hope so.

Grazz

You may be right mate but i think a lot are just being cautious, if he comes out firing there will be a stampede of coaches jumping on.

Wait and see for me.
