WHAT HAPPENED?

Seriously, how does Beijing go from being that competitive last year to that badly this year? ???

I wasn't around for it myself, but I assume they were shafted by list movements (trades, delistings, retirements), a bit like NDT.  ???

The one with Sidebottom and Mexico still baffles me today of how 13 coaches thought it was a fair trade.

kilbluff1985

Someone went after draft picks lol

Trade 52 (Confirmed)
Toronto gives: Pick 14, Preseason Draft 2nd Round and Liam Shiels
Beijing gives: Andrew swallow

This one still hurts, I could have smashed that offer.

Toga

@Purps, give me a moment ;)

JBs-Hawks

Swallow and Sidey trades they only shockers really. Dont trade premos unless you get premos in return ::)

I actually had an offer that bomberboy was going to do with Swallow, so I went to bed that night, woke up to THIS trade. Was so unbelievably peeved at BB, poor form. I hope that sort of stuff doesn't happen again next time around.

kilbluff1985

Looking forward to trading so Tokyo can try and get another premo defender as our other lines are good when not affected by injury

Judd, Mitchell plus our top 5 pick will be on the table

Purple 77

Just letting everyone know that David Swallow is on the trade table EOS  :o

Trade 10 (Confirmed)
Beijing Gives: Pick 30 and Mitch Clark
Dublin Gives: Pick 19 and Josh Caddy

Not too fussed by this one, Caddy will be a gun and Mitch Clark is someone I would hate to have in an XV team given how much he is injured.

Trade 19 (Confirmed)
Seoul gives: Pick 65
Beijing gives: Jay Lever

A nothing trade.

Trade 33 (Confirmed)
Moscow gives: Pick 3
Beijing gives: Dom Tyson

Oli Wines for Dom Tyson? Tyson will be good eventually, but Oli has already shown what he is capable of in just his first year, absolute superstar!

Trade 51 (Confirmed)
Cairo gives: Matt Rosa
Beijing gives: Shaun Grigg

Nothing really exciting about this trade either but a bit baffling why a younger player would be straight swapped for an equivalent (or worse) player...

Trade 52 (Confirmed)
Toronto gives: Pick 14, Preseason Draft 2nd Round and Liam Shiels
Beijing gives: Andrew swallow

Sam Mayes, Liam Shiels & dunno who the other player was... showerhouse trade TBH.

Trade 55 (Confirmed)
Seoul gives: Picks 28, 29 and Preseason Draft Pick 3
Beijing gives: Clancee Pearce

Stupid trade... None of the guys we got in return are playing ATM.

Trade 63 (Confirmed)
Moscow gives: Pick 87
Beijing gives: Liam Jurrah

lol.

Trade  64 (Confirmed)
Moscow gives: Picks 22 and 30
Beijing gives: Shane Tuck

Turned out to be Broomhead and Andersen so not too bad since bb was chasing youth (?) but probably could have gotten more.

Trade 71 (Confirmed)
Ney York gives: Pick 59
Beijing gives: Mitch Morton

Tim O'Brien might be good one day and Mitch hasn't really played much so bit of a nothing trade.

Trade 78 (Confirmed)
Mexico City gives: Picks 55 and 76
Beijing gives: Brian Lake

Probably could have bargained for more.

Trade 86 (Confirmed)
Beijing gives: Pick 48
Tokyo gives: Neville Jetta

Jesse White for Neville Jetta... Meh.

Trade 88 (Confirmed)
Moscow gives: Pick 21 and Sam Kerridge
Beijing gives: Picks 14 and 30

Kerridge a great get for us (if Sando would give him a game)... We somehow got Pick 14 back I think as we have Mayesy haha.

Trade 92 (Unconfirmed)
Beijing gives: Pick 59
Wellington gives: Aaron Cornelius

Cornelius will be a very good player someday, just depends if Voss is coach next year I guess. Think we probably win in this trade?

Trade 93 (Confirmed)
Berlin gives: Lachie Neal
Beijing gives: Pick 29

Lachie Neale will be a gun, Pick 29 = Nathan Wright, dunno much about him. I don't mind this trade.

Trade 110
Mexico gives: Pick 13, Pick 14, Pick 51, Daniel Kerr, Alan Toovey and Henry Schade.
Beijing gives: Steele Sidebottom and Pick 21

Absolutely floweren ludicrous. Ben Kennedy & Sam Mayes will be stars, but we could use a player like Sidey real bad at the moment.

*Just out of interest, what was your Swallow trade if you can remember Purps? :)

Um, not 100% sure, but I think it was Pick 13, Pick 25, Pick 37, Pick 40 and Brad Crouch....

I know it was a bunch of good picks and Crouch, he was after picks, so I still don't understand why he didn't do it lol

Yarren, Ellis, Deledio all could be at new clubs
