The Wellington Warriors have taken out the first ever Oceania cup defeating the Pacific Islanders 144 to 128

Our captain Marc murphy did well racking up 119 while the Vice captain Scott Thompson made a big 147, Jed Adcock also made an impressive 140. Taylor Walker suprised a few critics scoring 106, Robin Nahas could not quite carry over his pre season form straight into the regular season with scoring only 46 but we hope that he will be able to return to that form next week.

The Wellingotn warriors showed there depth in the reserves aswell by thrashing the pacific Islanders Reserves 151 to 34

Thomas Bugg scored a nice 88 in his first match ever along with Niall Mckeever in his second year scoring 86 they will both be pushing for selection in the senior squad if they can keep going, Issac smith another second year player made a good start to the year with 86 in the reserves and Dennis Armfield also put up a respectable 88.

Must admit pothead, I thought Wellington would struggle this year, but a very impressive first round outing has got me thinking! Your depth is impressive.

To be honest i didnt think we were going to do to well either but i have been happy with alot of the players so far, i am just hoping that they can keep it up so i can have an alright season  :)
