Well deserved Dayne.

No-brainer, great call by the adjudicators.

MajorLazer

This award took the longest to judge. A lot of research went into making sure we found the most deserving winner.

Well, we're already keeping Dale Morris.  :P

I like Fletch and I reckon we'll probably keep and promote him (since we have to either promote or delist). He's a younger and better Sam Rowe who I reckon we should probably delist instead.

Hello friends, it's that time of the year again. The Cairo Sands best and fairest for 2017 is about to commence!

Nige

Before we get to the main stuff, we're going to announce the winner of the coaches award for 2017.

The Polo is awarded to the player that the coaching staff nominate for the WXVs Coaches Award.

The winner of The Polo is:

Jeremy McGovern!

Nige

A quick reminder! The Karen Medal is awarded via a 5-4-3-2-1 system where the best performance gets the 5 and so on and so forth. Performances of equal value means both (or however many) players get the same amount of points for their efforts.
