WXV: Cairo Sands

Big announcement coming out of the Cairo camp this morning.

The Cairo Sands would like to introduce the new Senior Ass. Man., who will be starting immediately, NigeyS.

Hopefully now, with input from Nigey, the Sands can produce a much better season than the season that was endured in 2012.

I'm very happy to have joined the World XVs Cairo Sands for the 2013 season. I believe we're in a strong position and with the right team on the park each week we're a genuine competitor in the competition.

International Draft News

The Cairo Sands would like to welcome and announce the recruitment of the following players picked up during the International Draft.

Please join us in welcoming Matt Jones, Brad Hartman, Jason Johannisen, Ashton Hams, Harrison Marsh, Mark Hutchings and Sam Siggins to the Sands. Welcome aboard for season 2013 and beyond!

Cairo Sands List News

After the International Draft, Cairo had a full senior list but Harrison Marsh has been demoted to the rookie list so that we have a Pre-Season Draft pick. Head Coach MajorLazer and Assistant Coach NigeyS are both very happy with the recent recruiting and are looking forward to bringing in more great talent via the Pre-Season and Rookie Drafts to complete the Cairo Sands' list for 2013.

Breaking News from the Cairo Sands HQ!

Cairo are proud to announce the addition of not one, but two assistant coaches to our coaching panel for 2013 and (hopefully) beyond! They're both very knowledgeable and have great footy minds which will undoubtedly help Cairo push for the 2013 WXV title. On behalf of MajorLazer and the rest of Cairo, we'd love to introduce and welcome Toga and Ricochet to the Sands!
