Cairo Preseason News

With the suspensions of Heath Hocking and Travis Colyer for the 2016 season, the club has been granted two top up picks.

The first selection for the club was Matty Stokes who can play both as a forward and a midfielder and it is believed the club will be looking to use his versatility as much as possible during the season.

The club will pass its second selection regardless of whether a player is available at the pick or not and will look to elevate whichever rookie puts their hand up during preseason. The rumoured rookie to be receiving a promotion to the main list is Dougal Howard having impressed assistant coaches Dave and Marlon.

Co-coach Polo was unavailable for comment, his whereabouts at this moment unknown, however the club intends to locate Polo before the season begins so he can rally the troops for a big 2016.

Cairo BnF update!

Votes are awarded under the 5-4-3-2-1 system. 5 for the best score and so on and so forth. In the event two players score the same, both players are awarded votes for the corresponding placement.

Here are the votes and the tally up to Round 10!

What do we think guys? Is it Big Shano's to lose? Will Pearce Hanley storm home? Will an unlikely contender rise from the ashes sands like a phoenix whatever majestical creature rises from sand?

I'm a pleb for not shading in the cells below the votes for R6-9, ignore or forgive that pls.

Besides, that already happened to Matho.  :'(

Mummy will stay uninjured and win it comfortably imo.

Probs just jinxed him tho, f.

My Chumps

Mumford to just hold on. McGovern to storm home for third place!

So I'm under strict instruction for this best and fairest thing. As you know, we here at Cairo like to do things a bit different so we'll be announcing the placements from 1 through to 8. Yes, you read that right, we're starting with the winner and working our way down to 8th.  8)
