I am getting a lizard for Christmas, anyone got any ideas what type I should get. I have about $80 to spend.

My friend has a blue tongue (I think...unless there are any other type that do have a blue tongue? :P) and it seems pretty cool. Not that much you can do with a lizard though, is there?

you can get some really gentle snakes, like that never bite, aren't poisonous etc... and snakes are soooooo coooool

I had a snake when I was younger :)
Being the devilish child that I was I'd plant her in my sisters bed on occasion :-X

He mentioned that he was going away because in his family when you turn 12 you go visit the family...or something...so... ;)

Maybe he was, I'm not sure, but better to be on the safer side than have parents complaining to m0nty because their son asked about Lizards and ended up googling...X rated stuff :P

I had always wanted a cool lizard when I was younger, but never got one. Blue Tongues aren't all that interesting apart from their tongue I would get something more exotic. A bearded dragon or a water dragon would be cool :)

Also depending on what lizard you end up getting you may need to get a license to keep it. Plus remember that even though the lizard may only cost around $80 the set up cost is going to be a lot more as you have to also purchase all the stuff for its home etc.
