Yo all,

atm I've got a slightly infected big toe (a result from my final travel leg), atm I'm just soaking it in warm salty water, then I'm gonna dry it out, try to get some detol  on it, and put a bandaid on.

Should I do something else? Is it necessary to see a doctor or something?

I have large quantity of high % alcohol in the house... should I use some of that to try to clean it out a touch?

You could just drink it and then not worry about your toe :)

I suggest you see a doctor

Probably the right thing to do if you have no idea what it is ;).

At least it happened on the last leg of the travel rather than halfway through :P.

My brother had an infected toe that would flare up all the time.

Turns out it was an in-grown toe nail digging into the flesh of the toe.

Had to have an operation to get it fixed.

And on the thought of this thread I'm off for dinner, cheers :P

I reckon give it a couple of days of soaking and if you don't see improvement then go see a doc.

Ziplock

well it got noticeably worse today, so I'm thinking of hitting up the docs tomorrow if it seems bad in the morning- I dont want to have to wait until monday.
