Need some pendlebury & ablett love.  Ablett has Adelaide in Round 1!!!!

Shuey is a gun.  However, I would be hesitant to pick him especially after his break out year, where teams start paying attention to him.

A classic example would be D.Rich.

I think you just need to find the right balance with players with potential and players that are proven elite performers.  I think you are leaning towards the potential category a bit too much.

MajorLazer

I was actually already rethinking my midfield, but I wasn't sure out of Cotchin and Shuey. Will change it up tomorrow and see what I can make.
Thanks CS. :)

charliesheen

West Coast should seriously recruit Leon Davis.  I reckon it will add to their back line and would seriously help Hurn a bit.
.

charliesheen

oh, harlett & grimes combination might be one you will regrett.

In 2011, I went with Higgins, Grimes & adcock.

wtf was I thinking.  Though adcock was semi decent LOL!

like I said, nothing wrong wtih taking risks, but its all about getting the right balance.

MajorLazer

I only have Grimes right now because I'm hoping that he will be discounted. If he isn't I am looking at changing him to another defender that is slightly cheaper.

nas

Hartlett > he goes in my side as a future player, goes out of my side promptly due to the fact of his soft tissue injuries. Shoulder problems is one that keeps on coming back.

Ringo

Think you need a super prem in Mids to balance not saying that Murphy won't be. Perhaps Ablett, Pendles, Swan or Judd.

Nice unique in Redden who I will probably have as well if you look at my team. Suspect he will be the benficiary as teams can not tag all of Black, Rich and now Rockliff in Brisbane's midfield.

Like you if Grimes is not discounted will be looking elsewhere.

Keep an eye on some rookies not yet in FP Zorko for one and any other mature aged rookies that may be picked up in the draft..

MajorLazer

Thanks for the advice Ringo. :)

Right now, I got rid of Grimes for a rookie and upgraded Shuey to Pendles.

Still will get Grimes if he is discounted though.

MajorLazer

Have made a couple changes. Also looking at spending most of that left over 300k. Don't know where though.

Ringo

Maybe looking at a Clark, Petrie, Tippett, Kreuzer Ruck/forward DPP as back up to rucks especially for byes as well.

MajorLazer

I have been looking at them, but will only get one after SC opens up so i know for sure whihc ones are MPP.

Ringo

We are all waiting for those classifications, Some could be interesting one I am waiting on is Goddard to see if he retains B/c.

Hey ML,

Def: my concern is your putting a lot of your 'eggs' on players that had good 2011s (Birch/Hartlett/Hanley) and i'm not sure if they're gonna go bang in 2012 yet. think the combo of Hartlett (inj-risk) and Hanley (consistency) is risky. Hurn - to me did not that much in 2011 and nothing i saw indicates 2012 will be any different ...

solid Mids and Rucks ...

Fwds: only comment is your paying top dollar premium for Patton as no#1 pick but this is SC, so guessing you're monitoring him to see if he really is the next Brown-dawg ...  ;)

8 - solid, and I am a harsh rater ...  ;D

good luck mate!
