I was considering this path when my side is too old.  Still awhile away

I am quite confident that I am going to go down this path.  I have opened up all my senior players so that people can have a look to see if they are interested in any of them.

Maybe start investing in your YA now to help boost it by the time you can get some prospects in there.

Good ones tend to go for quite a bit now (Ave/Ave or Rea/Poor). Ord/Ord seem alot more viable but won't get up to the same level.

I doubt I'd go down a complete Youth Farm strategy. I keep replenishing it with Ord/Ord 16 y.o's each season :).

I have already started investing in my YA in preperation.  I think I can get 2 maybe 3 pops between now and EOS (currently at meagre)

Slowly start to cut down squad to lower your wages and invest more into youths.  In saying that though.  Your academy being is a fair way from being ready so possibly work it up to good/excellent before starting full rebuild

I'm listening to this stuff and it looks like I'm not as big a spud as my buying says. yes I don't have the youths yet but my acadmiescwill be at excellent/good very soon.

Hopefully this plan of yours works out Valk. :) Sounds like a ripper.

I will sell off my senior players at the end of this season and grab at least 5 ord/ord 16yo's as a start for next season (along with current youth players).  Then next season keep improving my YA so that the season after I can go after about 10 youth players.  I should make a bit of money during next season cos my wage bill will be extremely low.

So you're going to be a farmer Valk ;)

I didn't realise you were into 16yo's :P

Seriously, I didn't realise you were going down this route, sounds good. Good luck ;)

I didnt think about this option and then Sutty told me of the option.  I know he has bias cos he is the U-19 Manager :P but I dont mind the idea.  The more I think about it the more I like it.  In all honesty the part of the game I like is trying to make a profit each week (which I currently do).  If I go down the path of youths then I can make a bigger profit due to less wages being paid.  I would love to have Bermudan U-19 Nats that then go on to the Senior Squad.

So at EOS I will need some cheap waged 20yo (11 of them) - preferably under $1k :)

8-6 Suited

It's funny because Sutty is terrible as a manager of a club. ;x If youa re thinking of this route valk, message DZ. He actually did it and will be able to give you some great advice.

Or even ask heppa  he did something very similar

He youth farmed before that though.
How do you think he had such good 20yr olds to sell  ;)

cookie311993

I didn't think he farmed.  Alot of youth farms are stopping now to focus on youths
