At $243,000 Brian Lake is cheap......any opinions on how people think he'll go next season

elephants

Not keen. Obviously watch his Pre-season but hitting 30 and with only one good year under his belt I'll be steering clear.

Torpedo10

He will be to risky. He's a no go for me.

Hes not in my team, i think he's a massive risk. One that i'm not taking considering the risks i already have.

Chopps

unless he is solid pre season to risky

Holz

im definitely considering him but im not expecting a 95+ average so would rather risk a guy like grimes.

Windigo

Has had only the one standout season. Fairly dodgy IMO.

he scored 92 92 and 99 the seasons before the 104, if he could score anywhere in the 92+ range i would be happy to have him considering his price

Are you sure you got you rfacts right there Holz?? I thought his 2010 season average was roughly 20 points higher than his previous seaosns' averages. So he averaged ~100 in 2010, so he averaged ~80 in all his previous seasons.
I remember something like this as he and Ryan hargave were right next to eachother, they both had standout, and different years in 2010.

oh no the world 15s has corrupted me and i gave SC numbers, disregard all i said, on a side note if you do SC he is a lock.  Ok i agree im not going to pick up lake in DT

Torpedo10

Brian Lake will not have a good season in 2012. He is to old and injuries are getting hold of him. If you get him you better be prepared to use 2 trades at the end of the season. You are better to get a high draft pick and save 60 or 70k.

pavs nose

i disgaree with most. i'm locking this cow in. the backs were useless as a whole last year so i thinks it's a risk worth taking at that price. even if he averages 75 it won't be a disaster......especially as he could win you league matches with potential junk scores of 150++
