If we are 3 from 5 after round 5 then I think that would be a great start but I can see us sitting at 2 wins, 3 losses. I also think we have a great run home. As long as we have close to our best 22 on the park then 6 - 8 wins from the last 9 is achievable.

you guys have an amazing run from rd 15 onwards....

I agree with valk, 2/5 for your start up is most probable- imo you'll definitely beat brisbane and probably the saints as well, although honestly if you have a fully fit team, winning up to 4 of those games isn't unlikely.

as for your last 9 games... I think 8 of them can be won. WCE is the only stiff competition you'll have, but even then, if fully fit you should be able to take them.

Honestly, Freo will finish top 8 this year, barring another horror run of injuries (touch wood), I can see them making top 4, and imo even have a chance at premiers.

@ Ziplock It would be a long shot for premiers but defiantly a chance for top 4.

Agree good draw for you If you are no worse than 4/4 ater the first eight rounds definite top 4 chance barring the i word.

the only thing i dont like about this draw is that we only play Gold Coast and GWS once :'(

CIC but balancing that out the only team you play twice from this years top 8 are the Eagles.

the afl obviously have devalued our chances to make the finals cause of the injuries last year

so we now have an easier run on paper

I am actually looking forward to round 3 so I can get a handle on where we both stand given our injury runs last year. Although ours not as bad as yours.

Round 14 we lead for most of 3 quarters but did not score a point in final quarter for you to win by 23 points at Pattersons. This was the game where Sandi returnded to go off and you also lost McPharlin. So you can see why I am using it as a yardstick to see if we can run a game out for four quarters. There were another 4 games including Geelong we should have won if we played for four quarters,

Not that game. I think we played you in round 1 or 2 and you were winning most of the game and we came back to win by less than a goal.
