Sorry guys my fat fingers entered before I adjusted team so you can see the changes now.

Team 1. Bringing in COX over smith or burger is an upgrade in points, but I feel with luck he could drop so my plan for a rookie #2 ruck would be to upgrade to COX and start another cheaper keeper, BUT you may be better off with COX from the start becasue it may be cheaper and easier to then upgrade the #2 ruck (rook) to a cheaper premium other than Cox.

Team 2 is better I think, safer and if sidebottom and dangerfield lift it is definately going to be better.

Not sure broughton will be much if any better than heppell, so if team 1 broughton became heppell, could that bring fyfe into t2 also?

Maybe danger or sidebottom for NRoo? would improve team 1 also

That again would make me favour team 2 even more...

Rookies to be finalized after NAB cup others being watched Neale, Mitchell, Gibson, Hogan
Team 1:
Backs: I think there are better rookoe options than allen but im sure your rookies arent set until after nab so no big deal...i dont mind murphy as a POD i think duffield might be a better option if your lookin unique but that could mess up your structure...so if your happy with murphy and you've got the structure set, by all means leave him there!

Mids: premium choices are faultless...same with rookies although zorko is injured so monitor carefully

Ruc: well even though im not a fan of the 3-rookie ruck strategy, i must say you have the best one ive seen...the best premium ruckman in Cox, then the 3 best rookies...startong redden is a good move imo

Fwd: havent seen boomer in many teams...for good reasons i think, he is just too old to improve and imo is a bit inconsistent for my liking...but he will average 95+ and will be unique so not too bad i guess! I like nroo in there! Not too sure on crozier and hall...hall pulled out of the gcs nab game which is a worry and crozier isnt exactly lighting it up!

Overall: a very solid team, a few very minor changes could be made, but as far as a 3 rookie ruck team goes, this is one of the best

Team 2:
Backs: probly just prefer your first teams backs...broughton > heppel sold it for me

Mid: will score almost exactly the same amount of points as team A's midfield

Ruc: i like. I would take h-mac or even kreuzer over smith but a good pick none the less. Leuy is a gun plain and simple! Obviously beats Team A's rucks BUT not by too much

Fwd: Quite a bit better than Team A's fwds, largely because danger is in there over a rookie...the loss of fyfe hurts tho

Overall: again very good...cant suggest any real changes!

So which team do I prefer: well it is very close! I think the Team A backs gets you an edge of about 5 points! As the only real difference is greg and dyson! Mids are dead-even! Team B rucks gets you say 15 points over Team A's and obviously the team b forwards are better!

So i think it makes sense to go with team b! Hope i helped :)

Thoughts:
read that coach Scott reckons Smedts has a "very long way to go" to be a regular
Darley in hospital tonight. Dehydration?
I like Smith in Ruck. Gotta have somethin' different
Bit concerned about Hall's injury.
I dont believe in Dangermouse's hype. He's like Zaharakis, always promising.
Stephenson looking less promising than earlier
with your mids you should end the year stronger than you start

Ringo

Thoughts on this revision: Not impressed by Rucks so have gone Prem and 3 rookie structure.  Allowed a pretty strong def and forward structure.
DEF: B. Goddard, B. Deledio, H. Shaw, G Birchall, J Adcock, B. Ellis, S. Darley (S. Morris, T Bugg)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, J. Selwood, D. Smith,  S. Clifton, A. Miles(E Kavanagh, T Mitchell)
RUC: D. Cox, J Reddan (J. Giles, O. Stephenson)
FWD: L. Franklin, A. Goodes, N Fyfe, D. Martin, P. Dangerfield, J, Porplyzia, D. Pfeiffer,  (G. Weedon, S Kerridgel)
Realise I have a prem donut in Round 13 but this will be my compulsory.  Feel this backline will score more over the year even with bye.

Comments welcome.

Backs Have great depth with Adcock at B5 who scored 126SC esterday against the Blues.
Mids: Very strong here as well with a good selection of Rookies cClifton look good against the GC.
Rucks: Redden could be the bargain pick this year scored 117 SC pts yesterday
Fwds: Ver impressive forward line can't find a weakness here. Porps will be a risk but should be fine.

Overall. This is a super team picked by an expert coach i give this team an 9/10

JamSainter

Your teams looks exactly like mine.... Except I have 2 prem rucks and 1 less prem defender.

Supercoach gold gives Ringo's team a 1609 Projected score. I think you will score a lot more than that.
As to where I got the supercoach scores see the below link.

no need for comments Ringo, you have nailed it, no risk and the same as my ruck with one nab game to go i think that ruck is a lock unless something significantly changes.

Backs: Great - nice selection of premiums and rookies, cant fault the rookies so far

Mids: pretty good, you have a few unique selections in there :)

Rucks: no faults at all - however the 1-3 ruck strategy is a risk at your own choice

Forwards: no complaints here looking alright (Y) maybe the consistency of dangerfield, porpz and pfeiffer might come into question but upgrades will fix this during the season

9/10

Hey Ringo. Great looking team I really like it. Looks very similar to mine now after NAB 3 games.

Still not sold on Danger & Porps, even with their easy draw. However this is probably due to being previously burnt. Good for you for taking the risk! If it were me I'd downgrade Porp & upgrade Danger, perhaps to Boomer to keep your bye stucture?
