Yep, i've decided to put some effort into my FanPlanner team. Enjoy:

The Armadillos (Just copied the name i have for World 15s) Fanplanner squad in the Dream Team competition coached by PowerBug.

Bryce Gibbs, Brendon Goddard, Brett Deledio, Hamish Hartlett, Bachar Houli, Jared Petrenko, Beau Waters
Matthew Buntine, Billie Smedts

Trent Cotchin, Nathan van Berlo, Dane Swan, Dustin Martin, Tom Scully, Stephen Coniglio
Jordan Schroder, Cameron Kickett

Sam Jacobs, Nathan Vardy
Jonathan Giles, Jarrad Redden

Adam Goodes, Nathan Fyfe, Jarryd Roughead, Patrick Dangerfield, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Jason Porplyzia, David Zaharakis
George Horlin-Smith,  Jed Lamb

Salary cap left: $6,500 (This is with the cap being at whatever it's at. If it was to be at 8.78mil, i'd be over)

Backs: I beleive that Houli and Petrenko can average 80-100 next season, as both teams will do better and they had good finishes to the season. All 7 of my starters should stay for the whole season.

Mids: By picking cheaper guys i've been able to get 5 potential premiums. The two guys on the bench i'm not sure about, i just got them as they at a rookiish price.

Rucks: Jacobs - Will destroy next season. The two benchies i think will play, Redden not as much coz the Power aren't smart. But Giles will play.

Fors: Once again, by not getting the top of the range premo's i can afford more. And with Porps at such a low price :-\ He's a steal. Again with the benchies, aren't neccessarily them.

The changes:
Scotland OUT >><< Gibbs IN (Zip said Gibbs first)
Corey OUT >><< Swan IN (You guys said a perma skip, i got one)
Renouf OUT >><< Vardy IN (Him or West, as Ottens has retired)
Higgins OUT >><< Zaharakis IN (Head over Heart)

Really, really unique there PB.

I would like to see a true premium in your mids like a Swan, or Ablett, a proven scorer for some stability

I like your backline.

Shaun Higgins... Nuf said

Wouldnt go near Dangerfield, worse than Higgins at consistency (although he does turn up at matches)

There are better players out there than Joel Corey, he is the 5th or 6th best midfielder at the Cats which isnt good enough

Either have Cotchin or Martin cause when one has a good game, the other has a quiet game, personally I would go with Cotchin.

Nice, neat team though PB

Super unique there PB.

Love the backline. Honestly can't fault it. Hamstring hartlett is super injury prone so watch out for and expect that. Not sure about Billie Smedts. Maybe you've heard some inside info?

Very interesting tactic with the midfield. If it pays off your looking at a Toyota if not you might he tradeless come round 11. I hope it pays off for you mate. Jowl Corey won't become a super gun over the off season. In his thirties and looking at a scoring output decrease I'd say.

Not sure about this ruck combo. It may work out and again I hope it does. Calculated risks by the looks.

Nice forward line but dnagerfield is more of a SCer and Shaun Higgins is... Shaun Higgins.

Can you look at my team?

Thanks PB.

Holz

the problem i see with the team is it will need about 14-15 upgrades to fill it with premiums and you will have no Captain until you bring in a superstar. I think you will start pretty strong but will likely run out of trades or be stuck with guys like Corey, Martin etc.. in your mid where others have mids of Ablett, Swan, Pendles, Murphy, Mitchell, Rockliff

however the main thing this is wrong is your DP

elephants

Master Q

Defense: Strong with a touch of uniqueness
Midfield: Weak
Ruck: Almost worthless
Forwards: Very injury prone and unique but is kinda strong.

Room to improve.

Yep, thanks to those who've replied. I'll just go through a couple of my reasonings:

Billie Smedts: The Cats first draft pick in last years National draft. Was out all this year with an injury, so he should be back for season 2012.
Joel Corey: Looked good this year IMO and i think he can still average around that 90-100 mark. If not i can easily get a Dane Swan/Pendlebury/Boyd/GAJ etc...
Shaun Higgins: I promised myself that i'd have him :)
Jason Porplyzia: An absolute steal at that price.
The Rucks: Yes i looks very weak on paper esp. as Renouf only averaged 50ish this season. I reckon he can boost that average and I have the Crows as a top side so Jacobs can still score well.

The way i see it is i want to start with as many keepers as possible. So from my team i have a total of 7 backs, 5 mids, 1 ruck, 4 fors as keepers for the whole season. So 17 off my starting 22, and that's being kind. Could easily be 18 or 19.

And yes, i like to be unique, hopefully it pays off. I also haven't taken the byes into account yet, so players might have to change if i'm going to miss my whole side in one week.

i see what your trying to do but for example if this was my team i would say you have probably no mid keepers. But who knows this strat could work out for overall, if your going for a lague win i think you will finish high and than lose to a team with true premiums in it.

Scotlands over Gibbs is a hell no imo- Gibbs is younger, which mean he still has both a chance to improve and less of a chance of failing. Seems like a no brainer to me.

You're taking an absolute showerload of risks with your mids- I agree ftr, that Corey will not rise to a mid premo status next year, and for the price you're paying for him, that's what you want.

Roughy only scores well when rucking, which he won't do if the Hawks have any other fit ruck stocks.

Rucks are risky... I would be more inclined to go a rookie rather than Renouf, and then use the cash to upgrade one of your mids to an auto captain, because you sort of don't have one.

How much is Corey? Cause you could have Hayes or Barlow instead, much better DT scorers

Corey is like 437k. I'm not sold on either Hayes or Barlow.

I could get James Kelly instead?? He is only another 15k or so.

Kelly has really big games and then really quiet games, you have to be prepared to take the risk

Barlow has the potential to outscore Kelly and Corey

Updated the side. Made four changes, should make you guys happier :)

I said that the Crows will have much better 2012, they dominate my side, with 5 players, Geelong and Richmond with 4.

Torpedo10

I like the crows players for 2012. Look out for Scott Thompson in 2012.
