Where is the FTP thread?

In my warning, the very first thing I said was that I didn't understand the context. I said that clearly. All I have done is passed it along. I very much questioned it. I haven't recommended a banning.

Bazinga, these are just the kind of things you have often complained about, so I'm not sure where you stand.

But I don't see anything wrong with what I read about Barlow (unless I missed something). Barlow often lies and he doesn't contribute anything, I'm not sure what is wrong with a bit of light-hearted ridicule towards him when he repeatedly puts himself in silly situations, such as nominating himself in an election when he has no experience in the National side of the game.

Sorry Ossie, but whatever was said about Barlow (what I remember reading anyway) was 100% warranted. I don't remember reading anything abusive.

Yes, i like the current mods, but i do find it confusing when the same guys are running the whole site. I was thinking someone like CF, online a fair bit, is involved with both FTP and the soccer stuff, would be great to manage the other sports section. Ossie, Hawk: that's nothing against you guys, it's just so someone that understands what is going on more can take control. Plus it'll release the work load that you guys do :)

- It is my opinion - and my opinion only - that if you post something deliberately to make fun of someone, that is not on. Again, not knowing the full story. Didn't give a rats about the "HAHAHAH" on its own.

- Sorry Shaggy, perhaps I should have handled it better. But again the only thing I've done is move a thread temporarily, and passed it on to the only person who can make these decisions. The first thing I do when something like this is privately message someone. I don't make this public, this was your decision. I did it this time, and m0nty is a reasonable guy who handled a situation like this involving you before with fairness. See no reason why that wouldn't happen again. Especially if you explain the context to him.

I don't understand the stuff you guys say about Barlow. Who cares if he makes mistakes and keeps making them, if he wants to run for NAT manager then let him. If he doesn't make it, it doesn't. From my time on here i've noticed that everythin Barlow says is quoted with abuse of some sort. Make him welcome, let him play the game, and maybe things will improve and he'll ask questions, and be a better FTP player. I say give Barlow a break, coz you guys are being very unfair to him.

M0nty will get around to it when he comes back from Holidays, everybody deserves some time away 8).

I understand the Barlow comments, as we've seen him nominate for every election so far :-X. At least Mods weren't around for the Powerman thread, that wouldn't have made it past 10 comments and that was far worse for light-hearted fun :P. I pretty much read all the Other sport threads and keep up with them so will help out when the time comes. Think moving the FTP thread (:o) was a little over-exaggerating the situation, but the Mods are trying to keep this place friendly, especially for the young ones. Saying this, there has been worse said on the forums (and Barlow rarely even comes on anymore I think?).
