If I was biased I would say that Essendon would make the Prelim this year. The reason I think what I think is Hurley can play Forward or Defence and play really well. Okay I misjudged saying ten times but I still think that Hurley is better than Petrie.

I love Hurls but he can't play in the middle...

Thanks for pointing out that mistake Sid. Gee am I dumb at times.

That's alright mate :)
Still the fact that he can dominate as a CHB or a CHF is awesome 8)

Like Ron Phillips or a Laurie Nash.

roo boys!

And Petrie can more than hold up a ruck spot.

I think Hurley is a better at CHB and CHF but Petrie is better at FF and plays really well in the ruck. i think different teams have different needs but Petrie Is a very good fit with North. Still think Hurley is a bit better ( NOT ten times better ) but different people have different perspectives

Nice joke.
What? This is the first year Petrie has ever played solely FF and Ruck, before that he was used as a backmen and a forward. Not sure what you're smoking?

It's irrelevant though because if Petrie tried to play as a CHB/CHF he wouldn't do very well.
There's a difference between being able to play in a position and having played there.

I guess that's why we played him there consistently, because he wasn't very good at it.....You guys are treating Petrie like he's Jason Laycock, I don't think we're talking about the same player.
