Is he your whole team? If one player makes a differance between full strength and okay strength then how good must the team be. Have North made every finals series for the last ten years? We also won the GF in 2000 and have the record for the most games won in a season.

Don't forget that between 1993 - 2000, we made every preliminary final, an AFL record.

I also believe we made the preliminary final in 2007 too...

I think it's fair to say that over the last decade the two team have been fairly evenly matched. Neither of us have walked out with a Premiership so it is fair to class it as an unsuccessful era.
Not a lot of people will tell you that Richmond was a dominant team of the late 20s/early 30s. They did make 3 consecutive grand finals, however they lost each one to Collingwood, so The Pies go down as the dominant team and the Richmond team of the time is somewhat forgotten.

Premierships are what you need to win to prove your teams superiority, or, in this case- Round 1.

Yes North were top 4 in 2007 but where are they now? They should still be in the top 4 but they are not. Are you saying that North have more of a chance for top 4 than Essendon do? Essendon should easily make top 8 next year and mabe top 4 the year after that. Because North won flags then 12 years later they should have gotten to the top again. Essendon should be very close to the top in 2 years and in 2 years they will be where North is now.But c4 did you break through to the GF.
