I seriously think we have a very favourable draw.

In the first 11 matches we go Interstate twice, Gold Coast and GWS :D

We have a very possible 9 wins out of those games.

And the AFL have blessed is with the bye smack bang in the middle of the season :)

we go Interstate 3 more times after the bye including Round 13 the round after the bye.

And we don't play the Eagles in Perth Thank God!

1 more thing, 2 sunday games, thats right TWO!

one in adelaide and the other against north!!!!

5-6 games on Fox!!!

ILY AFL!

AFEV

Yep this is a fantastic draw for us :)
Don't think we'll get 9 wins out of those games, maybe 7.
Still young so we won't win all the games we 'should' win :-X

But yes, it's awesome 8)

LONG overdue!
Thank god the AFL has finally shown us some generosity!  :P
Really looking forward to 2012

Essendons draw is really good. This is who they play. Key N-Night A- Afternoon T- Twilight Q- Quarter Pos- Position

RD1 Nth V Ess. This should be close but I think the Ess Mids should beat Nth's Mids. FOX.SAT N. Ess WIN
RD2 Ess V Port. Essendon should Thrash Port. Port need to play younger players. SEVEN. SAT A. Ess WIN
RD3 GC V Ess. This should be a match where Ess run away with it in the last Q but GC do well. SEVEN. SAT N. Ess WIN
RD4 Carl V Ess.This match could go either way. Carl have better Mid but Ess have better Key Pos players.SEVEN.SAT A. Ess WIN.
RD5 Coll V Ess. Ess will put up a fight but I think Coll will have they manpower to run away with it. SEVEN. WED A.Coll WIN.
RD6 Ess V Bris. Ess should easily be the better team and thrash Bris. Bris need more Mid power. FOX. SAT A. Ess WIN
RD7 Ess V Wce.Wce would normally Win but it's an Ess home game so that should get Ess over the line. SEVEN. SAT N. Ess WIN
RD8 Ess V Rich. I think this will be an upset. Ess will let their guard down and Rich will pounce :( SEVEN. SAT N. Rich WIN
RD9 GWS V Ess. Ess should beat GWS easily. GWS will be not match for the MIGHTY ESSENDON ;D. SEVEN.SAT N . ESS WIN
RD10 Ess V Melb. Ess should have a better Mid and will give Hurley a go at the big mark. SEVEN. SAT N. Ess WIN
Rd11 Ess V Syd. This will be a awesome match. could go either way. Goodes will STAR in this game. SEVEN.SAT N. Syd Win
This is my prediction.

Just cas you support Port Adelaide spuds  :P

roo boys!

Essendon's mids will beat North's mids? I thought the midfield was what Essendon have been criticised for and North's strong point??? Even with Ziebell out I think our midfield would beat yours, it's just an issue of our weaker backline.

and Wells? Ziebell and Wells? That leaves you with Andrew Swallow, Brent Harvey and who else?

roo boys!

Wells will more than likely be a round 1 starter.

Even if he doesn't, Swallow, Greenwood, Harvey, Bastinac, Harper, Atley, Cunnington, Speight, Adams, Anthony, Wright, Garlett and MacMillan all very capable midfielders.

With Goldy, HMac, Petrie and Pedersen in the ruck...I think our midfield wins mate.

PowerBug

I don't know r&b, Watson, Stanton, Hocking, Zaha, Melksham are pretty solid players too. With Hille, Belly, Ryder rucking i think it's quite close.

Voldemort

the Bug has a fair point RB

AFEV

Swallow - Watson
Greenwood - Howlett
Harvey - Stanton
Bastinac - Heppell
Harper - Winderlich
Atley - Hocking
Cunnington - Zaharakis
Speight - Melksham
Adams - More of a HFF in 2011.
Anthony - Can't get a game
Wright - Reimers
Gartlett - Prismall
MacMillan - Colyer
Goldstein - Bellchambers
Hmac - (I thought he was going to magically gain the ability to play asa CHF :P ) Hille

Sure you guys might win out but the difference is not as big as you make it out to be. With JZ and Wells, it is better. Without them the diff is non-existent in my opinion.

Now talls ~
Michael Hurley -
Cale Hooker -
Tayte Pears -
Dustin Fletcher -
Jake Carlisle -
Ariel Steinberg -
Stweart Crameri -
Paddy Ryder -

Nice Sid, but they do have a few talls in Petrie, Goldstein, and Hmac, dont know about the def though

roo boys!

You seriously can't compare Goldy to Bellchambers???

Like I said, Wells is a fair chance to start round 1, but even if he doesn't, matching Harvey with Stanton is also wrong IMO. A champion of the game compared to a guy who can't kick???

Hurley - Petrie, and Petrie wins that for sure
Hooker - Scott Thompson
Pears - Grima
Fletch - someone old :P
Carlisle - Edwards
Steinberg - Black
Ryder - Pedersen

AFEV

I wasn't trying to compare similar players. Besides with what Harvey has fallen to he is only as good as Stanton.

Petrie is not better than Hurley.
Grima is shat on by Pears.
Fletch is better than someone old ::)
Ryder is far far far far far far far far far far better than Pedobear.
Isn't Black a defender? :-X
