@ roo boys You guys won't beat us twice. Maybe once but not twice.
You never know. Seeing as we are very evenly matched it would make sense to say that we will win once and you will win once, but with such close games in the past you can never really make an accurate prediction. Line ball.

Exactly. It's all pure speculation. For all we know, North Melbourne could be the West Coast of last year and Essendon could be the Port Adelaide of last year. That'd be nice.  ;)

You guys need another target to kick to other than Petrie if you want to beat us.Maybe Aaron Black when he gets a few more games under his belt.
HMAC

If anything, send Hawthorn to Tassie in a few years.

They'll get too dependant on the cash they are getting from the games at Aurora, that they might as well just move there.

Ignoring the uninformed knowledge of Hawthorn's finances you logic is also flawed  :P. We get the majority of the cash from Aurora matches because we get paid by the Tasmanian government. If we relocate, what reason would the Tasmanian government have to sponsor the Hawks?

Even I'm critical of this move. Another ruckman turned forward line player. McKernan, Petrie, Hale and now HMac. Egh. This is why North should have pushed hard for Jordan Lisle. We need a proper key forward line player, rather trying to re-invent the career of another player.

I said that cause I knew it would draw a response from you and only you.  ;) It worked.  ;D

roo boys!

See, I think our forward line is fine. Petrie obviously, even if you are against HMac he is a suitable target, Edwards makes a very good second/third tall IMO, then we have Hansen, Pedersen and Black under our belt.

Who do Essendon have? Hurley....and ???

You're going to start a war on two threads aren't you RB?  ::)

Torpedo10

c4v3m4n you need to know that North have more of a chance of being the Port of last year than Essendon do. Essendon did finish higher and win more games than you guys did. So according to the stats( And the stats never lie) North have more of a chance of being in the bottom three than Essendon do. And Jetta, Zaharakis, Hille, Bellchambers, Monfries, Crameri, Carlisle, Ryder, Hardingham, Gumbleton, Davey, Steinberg is that enough for you because you don't have as many guys who can play foward as we do.

Ziplock

I rate north above essendon next year, and I dislike north, and am impartial to essendon...

Petrie becoming a forward didn't turn out too bad.

You won one more game than us....

We don't have as many players who can play forward as you do? Well if I count that group of players you just listed (and a number of them a bit questionable as forwards but I'll let that pass) you have 13 (including Hurley).

How about this?
Petrie, Edwards, Thomas, Harper, Harvey, Goldstein, Black, McIntosh, Pedersen, Hansen, Campbell, Garlett, Adams, Daw, Kennedy, Mabon, McKinley, Speight, Warren and Sam Wright...pretty sure I count 20 there.

I feel sorry for you RB. Similar thing with me and my hate of freo, at least my family are eagles supporters i actually like the eagles.

roo boys!

Well I am working on them one by one ;) Mum said she went for Freo for a while as she was born there but she never really supported them so she's a Roo now.

And my dad was a big bombers fan as a kid (went to every game at Windy Hill, and we live just near there) but after going with me to all the North games each year he has swayed more and more towards the Roos. He now knows just about all the players and hardly knows the Essendon team now. When I asked him he said he probably goes for both. Not in a few years he won't >:D ;)

True, but it took him long enough.

RB, I'm impressed with your work.

My family is diverse. My sister goes for Geelong..  :-\ My Dad goes for Carlton, lost faith after their first wooden spoon ever and has slowly regained his faith.

My two best friends and this girl I have started seeing all barrack for Essendon. Luckily I have another best friend that goes for North Melbourne. Hawk_88, if you read this, yes you too are a best friend of mine.  ;)

Still....Round 1 is definitely going to be a brutal and fierce encounter that will test and strain friendships and familes. :P

roo boys!

Haha yeah, always is, hence why I absolutely love them 8)
