So went to the North Mole on Sun and Mon evening for a few hours...was pretty darn windy, but not too bad.  Got a good workout casting a retrieving some lures, hooked up on 4 occasions, but fish jumped out with a headshake and came off, all looked like chopper tailor.  Was a pretty big school of mackerel jumping out the water at one stage, but way too far out for anyone to cast to.  Was good fun and the sunsets were amazing.  Had some bait leftover so on the way home headed to the Swan drop a few more lines in.  Hooked up on what I thought was a nice sized Bream only to reel it in onto the jetty and it was a 35cm Pink Snapper!  Hooked up on a few more all very healthy looking and around the same size, beautiful looking fish at this age.  All released back to fight another day, and in about 5 years time I'll know where to go.  :D

Always good to get away and wet a line.

Good friday, time for another fish!  Mates going diving for crabs while I'll be on the surface trying for squid and bream/flathead, maybe some Mulloway if I'm lukcy!

We were going to go fishing tonight but someone wants to watch the rugby ::)
Would be nice there as well because it is humid as anything here today

Yeah, bit worried about the rain which isn't too far off, hopefully we can catch a feed before then!

10 crabs, 3 bream.  Thanks ya mother for the rabbits!  ;D

Nails

Not going to lie, but this has to be one of the greatest thread titles of all time. Could do with a question mark instead of a full stop, but overall solid af.

Zips idea that one, did well. ;)

My Chumps

Caught a stack of mullet over Easter. All small ones but was still fun reeling them in to the shore. Coupla flathead, trevally, few nice sized salmon and a single black bream. Excellent weekend.

Sweet, where'd you go, sounds like somewhere in WA with that bag?  Fresh mullet are hands down the best bait to put in your crab nets, you will clean up.  Heading down to Long Point on Sunday morning down in Rocko, try our luck for some Tailor.

Might be heading out this evening, see what happens I'm a little sleepy from a late one last night

2 big crabs tonight for a spur of the moment drop net fest.  Had to go with chicken frames as nothing was open except for IGA.  Might get some mullett and some fish oil for tomorrow night if it's not too windy, but its meant to be blowing a gale!
