Was a tragic accident and was exactly what motorsport didnt need after dan wheldon died in a race earlier this week, Marco was a great emerging driver and was looking to be a future world championship he will be missed by many  :(

simoncelli would have been a world champion before his career was done :'(

it goes to show, how fickle life is. In a split second his family, girlfriend and friends lives have completely changed. R.I.P. Marco

He was well liked throughout the racing fraternity, Rossi was a good mate of his so he will be absolutely gutted that he was involved not that there was anything he or Edwards could of done to avoid Simo, a tragic accident and so soon after Dan Wheldon
makes it even harder to swallow. Very brave men, my deepest sympathy to all family and friends. 22 is way to young, God Bless and Rest in Peace Simo, MotoGP is poorer for your loss.

He came 2nd in the Phillip Island. When I saw him on the podium I was wondering how he could fit the helmet over all that hair.... :(

I personally didn't like Marco as a rider - I thought he was unnecessarily dangerous but I would never wish this on him and his family/friends.  This is a tragedy and unfortunately another sad day for motorsport.  I can only imagine how Colin Edwards feels as he had no chance to avoid him.
