Well if he wasn't recruited for squad depth then where would he be put?

If Trent Dennis-Lane can't find any games how could Morton?

As long as he is in a Swans jumper I'll be happy enough

SydneyRox

yup, it is a good problem to have. TDL will get his chance this year and is the goods as far I can see!

Capper

Who do you leave out of your forward line up then Goodes, Walsh or Rohan???

SydneyRox

The Fwd line as I see it turning up Rnd 1 is something like.

H.Fwd         Okeefe         Goodes     Jetta

Fwd            Walsh          Reid          Smith

This leaves the likes of Mcglynn/Morton/TDL/Moore/White (in that order) fighting to get on the bench or sub.

All the things I have read suggest Rohans role year this will be across half back, floating through the wings rather than a fwd pocket.

FFS! would you keep quiet about Rohan SydRox??!   ;)

Just spoke to the horse and got our lineup straight from the horse's mouth for Round 1  ;)

Spread the word  ;)

Mattner      Richards      Shaw
Grundy       White         Smith
Hannebury    McVeigh       Bolton
O'Keefe      Goodes        TDL
Moore        Walsh         Reid
Mummy        JPK           Jack
McGlynn      Bird          Morton          LRT

;) ;)

TheMailman

Really?

Moore and Morton?

White at CHB instead of Grundy?

Hopefully he meant Nab round 1 which wouldn't make sense either  :P

Where's Johnson?

IMO not the Swans best round 1 team

I made it up for you  ;)

Mortons best footy at the Tigers was off a wing ala Fyfe, he knocked out about 100 DT point average over the last 5-6 games of 2010

Ziplock

then people picked him for a 2011 break out and he failed them :P

SydneyRox

i agree, would like to see him playing with some room, rather than in a fwd pocket. with some more space he will pose a hard match up, very good mark for his size

Capper

might fight with Jetta, Danhan, for a wing spot though.

Could be good on the wing though

but he didnt get the same role... he is a showerty kick for goal anyways ;D

not tooting his horn just pointing out he could be better given the right role

SydneyRox

Walsh did nothing to excite me and Morton wasnt much better in the NAB tonight??
