Brisbane have closed their third deal of the night, securing silky defender Lindsay Gilbee and National Draft Selection 40 for Josh Drummond.

"It's disappointing to see Josh leave the club, he's a very talented footballer and hopefully the change of scenery will help him with his career."

Josh Drummond was expected to become one of the premier defenders of the competition, but injury stopped him from reaching his full potential at Brisbane.

"Yeah, it's never nice to have to leave a club, but I felt it was time to make the move, and when Footscray showed so much interest in me, I knew they'd be a good fit"

Said Drummond.

Meanwhile rumors of a deal involving Mitch Clark are getting stronger by the hour, with Geelong leading the charge.
