No you can't. He is still technically contracted to Brisbane. You'd have to make a trade with them.

The Giants also have the right to pre-list experienced players like Lovett and Fevola, then trade them to other clubs for draft picks.

Technically C4 is right but I doubt Brisbane would stand in the way (they said that themselves). It makes more sense for brisbane to have him in this though...
