Interesting first day, hopefully there can be a full 90 overs + 30mins tonight.
Nice to see the vic-captain finally score runs.
8/214, not the best, but if the weather/pitch stay the same, and the Aussie bowlers can have some luck, then they'll hold on to a first innings lead.

He's the captain ...  :P

But still a knob. Can't you people ever finish your sentences?  :P
No we....
can't
but he is still a knob :P

Cicjose

yes Clarke is a knob, we have established that already, any plans to remove him?

PowerBug

Australai made a solid score in the end. 280 something.

Rudoplh and Simth batting for South Africa.

Voldemort

First over after lunch, Ian Gould makes two calls, gets both wrong, Australia reviewed both, and Shane Watson gets both Hamish Amla and Jacques Kallis.

And he's backed it up, now he has 4/15 off about 3 overs. RSA in trouble at 5/73. Boucher and de Villiers in.

A third review (All this after lunch) and south Africa are 6/77 :o Watson has 4, and Harris 2.

How the hell was that LBW  ???
That umpire should get shot, terrible decision..

Hughes is now dismissed. Craziest test match I've watched in a while.

9/21 after bowling SA for 96

they avoided the lowest ever score in an innings of 25  and the lowest score in 55 years

5/9 from Philander

is this the worst australian team ever?????????????

should have lost their last wicket on 41 huge nick to boucher but umpire didnt give it out and DRS doesn't use snickometer

All out for 47

worst Australian total since 1896

Why did marsh bat number 10

Cicjose

Very funny display by the Aussies. ;D ;D I go to bed and they've just bowled South Africa out for 96. And then this, all you can do is laugh.

Australia 284 & 47
South Africa 96 & 81/1 (17.0 ov)
South Africa require another 155 runs with 9 wickets remaining

That's how the games stands at the moment.

Fletch74

Amazing that 22 wickets fell in one day's play :o

Looks like the South Africans will get up FTW, but who knows after last night ::)

Reminds of that test match in India years ago, with Clarke taking a 6 for.
