so we should assume Tippet now goes to the Lions

Fremantle again getting stuffed in trade week

was that statement made prior to Melbourne landing Clark? i think now Brissy r armed with the picks The Crows want in return for Tippet

CrowsFan

Hmm will be interesting Marcz. Weren't they going to offer picks 8 and 12 for Tippett if the deal with Melbourne went ahead?
Wonder if the Crows would accept that or not...

Seeing as they went for Lynch & Johnston I'd say Adelaide are in on it about that deal & are planning to accept it...

CrowsFan

Yeah that's what I said when they got in Lynch, they were planning for a time without Tippett. That would give Adelaide 3 picks in the first round. Almost as many as GWS :P

Why? They should have offered the Lions more, or offered Clark more. Demons wanted him more, and good on them. They have money to spend!

Afraid of being forced to become a giant!

This could be a nice draft for the Lions...

Got 2 picks inside the top 12...

And 3 more at like 28-37 or something like that...

Hopefully we acquire a few guns.
Agree Nails our first 4 picks currently are 8, 12, 29, 30 and 34.

Lisle will be a good addition as well if trade can be done.

good for Freo, dodged a bullet - would've been another shower trade in a long history of many ...
Melb paid too much but they needed something with Scully taking the cash from GWS.

I think the only way Freo would've been 'in the clear' with this move is if the Lions baulked at pick 16 and then Clark came to them via the draft ... that way they wouldn't have lost anything if the move had 'bombed' ...  ;)

According to the wonderful website sportsnewsfirst we are looking at getting Farran Ray and Zac Dawson via the ND & PSD

http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/articles/2011/10/19/dawson-and-ray-in-fremantle-sights/

Cicjose

dont want Ray or Dawson

Valk do you believe they would be of any use to us?

pyronerd

You can have Dawson :P

Cicjose

fremantle has seen some dodgy trades in its time thats why i hate trade week for Fremantle

drafts we havent done that badly in.....

trading the number 1 pick of the super draft......... that still burns

Windigo

Ray is a decent player.

Dawson on the other hand I don't rate. I don't think his best position is FB. He ain't that big of a bloke.
