your midfield is absolutely stacked! Swan and Pendles in the same team could be dangerous? They are usually rested during matches (v. weaker sides), meaning lower scores on the odd days. I dont really know much about your backline rookies, but some obviously research has gone into this team and it's looking pretty good  ;)

Since when? LOL

round 6 V Bulldogs: Swan 96, Pendles 87
round 22 V Lions: Pendles 94, he was killing it, but the coach decided to give him a 15 minute break which broke the hearts of all DTers and SCers.

Justing saying that sometimes they are so good that the coach decides to give them break, but not always there are example of the things that go the other way around as well

Round 2 V North: Swan, 162, Pendles 141
Round 18 V Bombers: Swan 171, Pendles 141

Reckon you got some nice ideas.

Id be wary of Kreuzer, won't see much rucktime, Ryder possibly in same boat.
Waters is way more DT oriented and is always injured.
Out of your groups I would go
Brown
Didak
Lucas

But yeah, obviously pre season will play a part, have a better idea then.

Its a good start though.

my logic behind waters is
1. he is correct age bracket ~25
2. he is vice captain
3. changes to SC scoring with disposal efficiency (will mean he should be now SC friendly)
4. i need to take 1 risk somewhere, the rest of my team is fairly conservative.
5. i can easily sideways him to lake, suban, k.lucas, etc at the first sign of injury.

expecting him to be my adcock of 2011 ;P

Can understand your logic CS but tbh Waters just doesn't do it for me. Of those you mentioned, Lake would be the only one I would take a risk on. I mentioned elsewhere that i was deciding between him and Barlow myself as my 'risks'. While your forwards are good, they just seem a bit risky maybe injury-wise??? Don't trust Cloke just yet, SJ a GREAT player but have the feeling something will happen to him (lol)...Brown the same... Pav not too bad and underestimated over here i say but comes down to how he's played as you know. Guess we'll wait and see!  8)

Like this team CS .  You need to take a couple of risks to be different from the Standard teams.

I suspect Brownie will be at his best this year doing his first full pre season in 10 years and looks the fittest I have seen him for a while.  Has gone to Arizona for altitude with another 4 Lions as well.
