do GWS need to trade the players in the mini draft if i were them i would keep him. I think he is worth more than pick 4.

How is Matthew Lloyd not listed in the second article?

Because we did not trade away Lloyd - I wish you Victorians would get that in your head :P

We received some contracted players from Essendon in return for a priority pick to Essendon.  That priority pick was then used to draft Lloyd (as a 16yo if I remember correctly)

They have 4 picks that they MUST trade either this year or next year.  They can choose to use all 4 this year or none this year.

yeah have to trade the picks, cant access any of the players that have nominated. Although they could back themselves to finish bottom next year and not trade a pick this year and get him at 1 in the draft...

I know, but the article also talks about draft picks that were used on gun players.

Really would doubt Freo has a chance

If GWS aren't going to accept pick No. 4 in the draft what the hell could Freo offer that is both realistic and better?

True that. Melbourne and GC seem liike the only teams that would be prepared to offer enough.
