Couple of reports now linking Tippett with Brisbane since GC have gone cold on the idea. Would be a great pick up to replace Clark especially with his Ruck capabilities as well to support the Burger. Hopefully a trade can be done even if a three way trade involving Mitch Clark to Freo. A forward line of Brown, Tippett and Karnezis looks appealing.

WEST COAST could help deliver Adelaide star Kurt Tippett to the Lions.

This could be a perfect trade for all parties if they can sort out the finer details.

AFL trade week begins on Monday and the Eagles have made a pre-emptive strike for a possible three-way deal that could mean departing Lions star Mitch Clark goes home to Perth and Gold Coaster Tippett returns to Queensland.

The Eagles have contacted the Lions to express their interest in Clark.

Bitter West Australian rival Fremantle was considered the front-runner for the 23-year-old but has been caught napping by the Eagles, who have wasted no time since midfielder Brad Ebert told the club he wanted to be traded to a South Australian team.

would be surprised if that deal go done without a heap of draft picks. Brisbane the big winners out of that deal.

You would think Adelaide would have to get a decent pick if they were to get involved with potentially losing Tippet and getting Ebert not really adding up imo
