Much like i did the mock draft last year this is nearly the same except this time i am including the new franchise in Greater Western Sydney. Where will the highly rated youngsters end up and who will end up at your club. Find out below.

Pick 1. GWS - Stephen Coniglio. Where do i start clearance king, can kick goals, future captain material at GWS, Has the ability to play in the centre or at alongside the Half Forward line excells in both position.

Pick 2. GWS - Jonathon Patton. A man being compared to Jonathon Brown, Nick Riewoldt and Wayne Carey seems impressive does it not. Well lets continue Strong hands, excellent at ground level, can kick a goal, has excellent endurance and speed.

Pick 3. GWS - Chad Wingard. Im going to say this now this kid will be a star and you will be comparing him to Joel Selwood in his first couple of years. Never backs down from a contest and seems to always hit his target. Like Conigilo can play midfield and up forward and can slot the goal he is also a future leader for GWS. One of my faviourite players already.

Pick 4. Gold Coast - Will Hoskin-Elliot. Will has been talked about since his junior days can kick on both feet excellent disposal effiency is superb, Will win his own ball and can bring others into the game, Can run all day and loves to kick a goal.

Pick 5. GWS â€" Billy Longer. Is possible the best ruckman in this years draft, Plays like another midfielder and has got a good speed. Can take a mark and has a good leap on him could be the number 1 ruckman at GWS for many years to come. Has been compared to Dean Cox

Pick 6. Port Adelaide - Elliot Kavanagh. The only thing that dropped Kavanagh out of the top 4 would been his hamstring injuries he suffered during this year. There have been reports he is not fully over his hamstring injuries and this could come as a bargain to Port Adelaide if they can get his body right he will be a gun.

Pick 7. GWS -  Jed Anderson. The X-Factor can turn a game. Spent most of the year with GWS and they have said they will most likely take him. Plays as a midfielder can kick goals and is a inside midfielder.

Pick 8. Brisbane Lions â€" Hayden Crozier. Crozier will just be another exceptional addition to the Lions young brigade. Very smart footballer, has strong hands only thing that lets him down is consistency, endurance and size hopefully Brett Burton can change all that

Pick 9. GWS - Adam Tomilson. Sheedy said the 3 major parts he will look for in the draft is a Key Forward (check), Key midfielder (check) now all thats left is a key defender and on queue Tomilson. Can play on small and tall forwards. Who will i be comparing him to the great Matthew Scarlett knows when to attack and plays as defender just as well if not better

Pick 10. Adelaide â€" Liam Sumner. Possible the best user of the ball in this years draft. Plays as a outside midfielder as been compared to Dale Thomas already.

Pick 11. GWS â€" Todd Elton. Any other draft he will be top 5 pick no doubt about it. Plays as an extra midfielder, strong endurance and hands can take a good mark and slot the odd goal. Alongside Longer they will create the best ruck combination in the game in 3 years.

Pick 12. Melbourne â€" Matthew Buntine. If Melbourne can pick him up at pick 12 they will be laughing again with Elton any of draft he would go top 5, Plays of half back and in the midfield reads the play well, good foot skills and is a natural leader. Wins his own ball and can play on tall or small.

Pick 13. GWS â€" Dom Tyson.   Good hands a penetrating kick. Has excellent pace and agility, Can play as a inside or outside midfielder.

Pick 14. Richmond - Michael Talia. Only put him behind Tomilson because he can lack a few defensive skills even though he was set full back for the under 18 All Australian. His kicking can also let him down at times but apart from that can control the defensive line and is brilliant one on ones showing that when he destroyed Patton.

Pick 15. GWS - Jackson Starcevich. Should go father/son to Collingwood but if GWS can win the bid and secure him Sheedy would be very happy. Has the ability to play as a key forwward or a key defender. Can kick the ball along way and can take strong marks. Alongside Patton they could be a very dangerous combination up forward

Pick 16. Fremantle â€" Toby Green. Clearance king, Only problem is Toby has suffered from leather posion collects disposal at will and knows how to use it. All Australian player and was voted Vic Metros most valuable player.

Pick 17. Western Bulldogs â€" Brandon Ellis. Plays off half back and in the midfield, Ellis could slip out of the top 10 due to him lacking in a few errors. Plays the sort of Quarter back role and sets up the play I’m going to go out on a limb and compare him to Luke Hodge.

Pick 18. North Melbourne - Clay Smith. Kangaroos will be very happy if Smith slips out this far. Came from a basketball background, Can play as a inside or outside midfield and can kick a good goal future leader at Kangaroos

Pick 19. Essendon â€" Taylor Adams. Is a All Australian, good leadership qualities, and a good decision maker can also win his own ball which is a huge positive plays in the midfield.

Pick 20. St Kilda - Ben Kennedy. Possible the best small forward of the draft. Was an All Australian explosive speed and will take over when Milne retires

Pick 21. Sydney â€" Sam Milne. Wins contested football and is probably the best kid in this draft at doing the one percenters body already built for AFL and could be the replacement for Brett Kirk.

Pick 22. Carlton â€" Mitchell Grigg. Clearance specialist, voted the most valuable player in South Australia, tough and can kick goals.

Pick 23. West Coast â€" Peter Yagmoor. Has excellent work rate and is very skillfull player with his brilliant kicking can kick goals and is excellent at reading the play, can kick a goal and is a hard worker. Plays in the midfield

Pick 24. Hawthorn â€" Shane Nelson. Can break through the lines, strong overhead, can kick goals and has solid skills.

Pick 25. Collingwood â€" Jimmy Webster. Has a penetrating left kick on him strong hands and excels in pace and agility plays as a midfield or forward plays like James Kelly

Pick 26. Geelong - Sam Frost. Is a key defender as a huge engine on him can play forward or back and can take a great mark

What do you think of my mock draft, feel free to share your input and if you want post in this topic your first round

Not bad! I think you are quite off on Tyson, he's expected to go top 5/6 (maybe at #3 to GWS in my books)! Buntine top 10 for sure, if he slips to 12, Demons get a massive steal right there, best defender in this draft :-X.

Jed Anderson is a 17 y.o I believe, not this season ;).

It's all speculation so it'll be interesting to see how close everybody is come draft day.

Oh didn't realise Anderson was 17 haha sorry about that.

I did look at putting Dyson in the top 10 but i just couldn't pick anyone to go out for him.

It would be very intersting to see where some of these stars do end up. Some other names to look out for are: Sam Docherty, Tom Mitchell, Julian Dobosz, Josh Waldhunter, Brad McKenzie, Nick Haynes and Jackson Paine

GWS will not pick up 2 top ruckmen in this draft, given they already have a decent mature-aged ruckman. No team would want to have 3 top-line ruckmen in the same team 4-5 years (or more) down the track

Mitchell is certain to go to Sydney at #21, Father-Son rule. They'd be VERY happy with that pick up. They locked him away like a year ago :P.

If GWS go for a Ruckman, they'd be crazy to look past Longer! Although, if they do go for Elton as well, they can always play Elts as a Key Forward. But agree with you LShuey, I expect Elts to find his way to Melbourne.

Jugganauts

Oh yeah i totally forgot about Dean Brogan  :P

Cicjose

if we can get that clearance king with our first pick i think we will be laughing

roo boys!

Although Smith seems like a really good player, we don't need another midfielder :-\
