Geez 16.1?

My best 9 :(
My best is like 7.8. As you can tell, I'm not an endurance guy :P.

Wingard SHOULD go in the top 3 but might slip to Port at #6. Has the potential to easily be the best of the bunch this season 8).

Mines 12.1  8)
I'm pretty good at the jumping ones, but can't recall my results.

Here are the results of the 3 km time trial. This boosts Hoskin Elliott's chances of being in my team.

2. Will Hoskin-Elliott 9.53
3. Tom Sheridan 9.57
4. Nick O’Brien 10.01
4. Sam Kerridge 10.01
6. Jack Newnes 10.25

Brad Hill has certainly pushed himself up the order with incredible efforts in the beep test and the 3km time trial.

Even though Shannon Taylor isn't eligible for the National Draft, he'll be a major player in the GWS mini draft after being in the mix pretty much everywhere.

Ahmed Saad has to be drafted after coming first in both sprints and 2nd in the agility test. He is a mature-age rookie, so GWS will probably swoop on him.

Chad Wingard as mentioned has been brilliant. Excellent performances across the board. Will probably push Dom Tyson out of the top 3 now in the National Draft.

Lachlan Dalgliesh has certainly turned heads with solid performances in the agility, sprints and clean hands test. First round draft pick for sure now.

Brandon Ellis, Jordan Lockyer and Devon Smith have each probably pushed themselves into first-round contention as well.

But I think my favourite player out of the draft combine...

Zyrus Manson. What a name!  ;D

Hill and Saad are athletic FREAKS :o. Both might go in the second round now 8).

I think there goes Port's chances to land Wingard ;).

Any thoughts to the Phantom C4?

Boomz

Doubt Hill will be pushed up too much... He's too light :-X He can run but I think most recruiters knew that already.

Saad won't even get to the draft. GWS still has their 'pre-selection' window. Ahmed Saad and Tim Mohr are two players that will be snapped up by GWS thanks to this window.

Players like Matthew Buntine, Dom Tyson, Sam Docherty, Mitch Grigg and Brad McKenzie that have been rated quite highly prior to the combine, may now slip down the order.

Hayden Crozier, Elliot Kavanagh, Brandon Ellis, Jordan Lockyer are names that may push for top 15 now.

Of course it's all speculation and opinion. For all we know, GWS may still pick Dom Tyson at #3...  :-\

Tyson better not slip past #6 >:( .

I actually wouldn't mind if all of them slipped to Essendon :P. Grigg, McKenzie and Doch seem the most likely to be around when we take our first selection. Wingard deserves top 3 and I'd take him over Tyson as a player.

Didn't know that C4! Thought Saad would go in the draft but stand to be corrected.

Would really love if Chad Wingard and Brandon Ellis slipped out to pick 17 and 39 so the doggies can pick themm up, I think i have a man crush on them  ;)

I still can't believe that players aren't going closer to 9 minutes, especially when you consider that some midfielders run up to 20km a game. Surely they aren't so bulky in the upper body to inhibit this.

Exactly what I was thinking. I was even wondering if the track was long. If we can take anything out of this it is over a distance longer than 100m this is a slow group of draftees

Its true that players run that far in a game but I think the difference is the type of running between a game and a 3km time trial.  A time trial is constant running speed for 3km.  You don't ever run at a constant speed in a game of footy.  You sprint, job, walk, stand or even go to the bench and rest for that same 3km distance.  I think recruiters would pay more attention to the repeat sprint than the time trial.

I think the repeat sprints would be more for the forwards and backs but if you're a mid you should be running 3km close to 9min. Hardly any of them went sub 10min. such a slow group.

Looks like Liam Sumner will slip to Melbourne now  ;D
