I reckon holz is right, port are currently the worst prospect in the game. Maybe brad wants to come coz he knows the he'll get a game at port. At the eagles he's a borderline player. I say give em kane cornes. He doesn't make ports side anymore, he could be valuable trade bait.

you could be right there power bug with priddis, kerr, shuey, gaff and others he may be pushed out next year. I think trading kane could be a win win for both clubs. I wouldnt give up pick 6 for ebert, the draft doesnt seem very deep this year, they could get a good player at 6, with 16 not so much.

Kane to GWS for No 1 mini draft pick then get the Jaeger Bomb. Win Win Cornes bros united & broges also as well as Choco.

PowerBug

If i could choose i'd have chad and brad over kane and brett, but this is port. :( where would brad fit in the side though? I like our smalls up front and our mids are full when playing. Where does he play?

Wes Mantooth

PB we need depth and ebert would provide that, young player with potential and 76 games under his belt.

I believe Ebert would fit in nicely in the Port side and if i were Port i would not try and get a deal done instead get West Coast to delist him and then Port pick him up in the pre-season or rookie draft for nothing. Ebert is 100% to leave and if Port were smart they would play it this way

No club in their right mind would just give up a player that they have put a few seasons into for nothing, they mightn't ask for much but they will want something that is for sure

John Anthony, Cam Bruce, Bachar Houli, Joel McDonald, Daniel Bradshaw, Adam McPhee, Josh Carr, Hayden Skipworth, Chris Johnson, Scott Welsh and Darren Pfeiffer are names in the past 4 years that have been picked up in the pre season draft for nothing.

Fair enough. But he provides West Coast with depth too. Is the homesickness really that bad? I hope it is, coz i do think he could be a great player. :)

He could end up at Adelaide as his main preference I believe is to go back to SA and not specifically Port but I may be wrong

Especially if he gets tied up in a three way deal also involving Tippett and Clark.

But in saying that he can say NO I want to go to Port & as stated re others that have done in the past, he can go in the Pre Season draft & we get him for Nothing!!! Refer below re a post & has worked before in our favour re Josh Carr.
