Valk - Hopefully for both sides a fair trade can be done.  As you know being a Brisbane supporter I would also like what is best for Brisbane as well.  Given he was a top 10 draft pick I believe we would be entitled to reasonable compensation.  For Clarkes sake I hope it can be worked out as i do not see him risking entering the draft even with a reasonable price tag and hopefully still being available when Freo have first pick.  It would serve no good purpose remianing at Brisbane as IMO he appeared to be not interested in the later part of the season although injury may have been a factor. Have heard Duffield mentioned as a possible trade plus pick.

Fair comments Ringo (if you are a Lions supporter), but as a Freo supporter I am sick and tired of being on the wrong side of a trade (Tarrant twice, Croad, McLeod) so I am hoping we finally get a win. 

I have heard that Duffman may be up for trade.  The other rumour getting legs at the moment is a straight swap of Mayne for Mitch.

If I read correctly, that says Pies will give up the first round pick for him?

Wow that would be a huge blow for the Lions. They'll need a good player/pick in return because he is clearly one of their key players...

We'd get Marty Clarke and a young player for that pick so not really a rip off at all.

why freo over the eagles. Not sure if he would fit the strucutre but i would rather go there. Would free up lecras and clark, darling and kennedy could be the forward line for the 6-8 years.

Kennedy, Darling, Lynch, NicNat, Cox - they got plenty of talls there

Sandi, Zac, Griffin, Pav, Keplar - 3 ruckman, 1 utility and 1 forward (not a good mix)
