Cic how can you not rate SOK. He is a very good player and i think a big future for him. and de villiers is the biggest loss for Sa except if they were to lose steyn

He would be a real big loss. But Losing Kallis would be worse than Steyn.

Who cares about how much they spin it? I rate SOK better than Smith. Smith needs alot of work on his bowling

SOk does spin the ball most of the time and he does have alot of variation and batting

I agree with that. But i don't see sok as a test match player. His role feels more like he can only play the short forms.

Smith isn't ready imo. He cant bowl. No point having a batting spinner as your option. Now they have found Marsh/Usman K... Smith won't be used for Tests until he improves his batting to be a sole batter or improves his bowling to be an ar. He is better suited for one-day/t20 dynamic fielder and get hit the ball hard and long. Not ready bowling wise, too many lose ones
