some interesting information in this:

With Pavlich earmarked to play out of the goal square, the Dockers will need a mid-sized utility who can exert influence across the ground, as and when required. Again, McPhee could be a stop-gap measure but from 2013 onwards, there is no reason why the prodigiously talented Anthony Morabito shouldn't model himself on the St Kilda champion.

Valk i know why you like this kid to become a focal point for us

Ringo

Will Mitch Clark be used in that role if you get him.  He has been used as a defender with Brisbane as well.

Morabito is in the build of Goodes - I can only hope that he turns out half as good.

Morabito
191cm
97kg

Goodes
194cm
99kg

Goddard
189cm
93kg

so is a roaming half back flanker a good move for him or would you rather see him as a focal point up forward?

I think he should become our next CHF after Pav.

a particular person said this in response to Lyon taking the role of the Dockers:

"Not Happy, this guy lost the unloseable flag in 2009 and bombed out again in 2010. Great record, I dont think so."

My Response:

He is here to deliver a flag to Fremantle and at least he got his team to the big stage and until we do that we cannot move forward as a club.

I wanted Mark to stay but Ross has been there and knows how to get us there so only time will tell.

Would you agree this is what Ross is here to do?

I am a little worried for you Freo supporters with how your list will look in 5 years time if Lyon last that long, I realise winning gf's is what it is all about but I don't know if Lyon's gameplan is good enough to win one? It is stingy enough to make the finals but very doubtful whether it's good enough to win a gf

As long as we keep Lloyd looking after the recruitment then I think our list will be good.

Cicjose

i understand that but we would be far better prepared if we had our best players available this year to make an assessment

Well we didnt have our best players available this year.  Not much anyone can do about that now.  We need to just let Ross do his thing and see how good this "Career Coach" is and what he can do for our club.

do i think we made the right choice to remove Mark Harvey? NO

do i think we made the right choice to replace him with Ross Lyon? YES

are we better prepared than we were last season? YES

can he get us to the pinnacle of the sport? YES

will we achieve ultimate glory? TIME WILL TELL
