TWO of the prized 17-year-old selections supposed to turn Greater Western Sydney into a superpower have already been delisted by the club.

Perth teenager Simon Tunbridge, who battled homesickness all year, has been joined by South Australian teen Jarrod Harding in exiting the club.

Pacy half-forward Harding has signed with former club Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL, having lasted only a year at the Giants.

The dozen 17-year-old selections are a key plank of the Giants' recruiting strategy, with GWS having the pick of the country's players who turned 17 in the January-April window.

Gold Coast rolled the dice with talented cricketer Alex Keath, who ultimately became a Victorian state representative for the Bushrangers.

But with talented rookie Isiah Stevens having already walked out on GWS because of homesickness, it is a worrying start to its recruiting campaign.
