so for me the only remaining question is who was the conduit to this deal?

Lyon and Harvey had the same management so who of power has a friendship with Lyon to put forth a potential deal?

Lyon kept this a secret as did Freo, so this person is in a position of power at the club and a personal connection to Ross or this surely would have leaked somewhere along the line... he also has no real WA ties (correct me if im wrong) and has to uproot his family and move them to WA (wife from WA maybe?) either way its hard to comprehend this was a decision made over such a short period of time...

Pssht whatever. The saga is only just unfolding but I'd rather wait to see what terrible draft picks they go take as he has done at St Kilda repeatedly, then how they go next season.
