Just heard on ten news that Ross Lyon has quit Saints and is flying over to Perth tonight....  :-\

I was just watching the 10 news and I didn't hear that at all.

Timmy Gossage said it twice. And again when he signed off. Perth channel 10?

Wow, that was quick. Ross Lyon is a greedy man.

I felt that this would happen, the him leaving part. On Saturday when he talked to the players after the game i thought he was saying that he had decided to leave the club, then when i heard the news that he mentioned the words "End of an Era" i sort of knew that he'd be leaving. But to freo, wouldn't have guessed it even if a had 18 chances ;)

I did not see this coming.  I thought that if Harves had a bad year next year then he would be gone. Although I must say its an upgrade from Harvey to Lyon if it is true.

No, I wasn't inferring that you were making it up, I was just stating that I hadn't seen any of that nor heard it or read it. But that is a great move by the dockers in picking up Lyon, however I don't think Harvey being sacked was warranted.
