Correct me if i'm wrong BlueStorm, but i traded out Bosschart a little while back because he wasn't getting enough cleansheets. But if we look back to the stats, we come up with the following figures. Sydney FC have only kept 4 clean sheets this season. One was against used-to-be league leaders Brisbance, also halting their un-beaten run; one was against bottom side and management wrecked Gold Coast United; and there other two clean sheets were against, you guessed it, Melbourne Victory, that's half of their cleansheets against the one team!

I rest my case ;)

Those trading Van Dijk > Smeltz this round would've felt justified in their decision after Sergio was rested....then to watch on in vain as Smeltz has started on the pine >:(

Points for the Reds this round - none for Victory ;)

1 Yes, but that wasn't the point of my post.
2 No, ACL is more important to the Reds now.
3 No.
4 Fred played 88 minutes, maybe if Hamill had come on earlier he may have helped prevent the 80 min equaliser by Ifill
5 Yes. A point is awarded for a draw and the result was 1-1 :P

that 1-0 win for Perth against CCM did no wonders at all for my Fantasy team :(

I wont tell you why (my observation secrets ;) ) but i have summed it down to Archie and Dugandzic. Currently Mate gets the nod cause of curent form; but ideas?

Also; to 2 out of bench Hamill or Adnan or Risdon?

For this last normal gameweek for the season:

We have Sydney, Heart and Newcastle, bringing out all guns to ensure their finals place.
We'll have Perth and Wellington going for a home final.
We'll have CCM and Brisbane doing their usual; i would assume finishing at number 1 wouldn't mean too much, but i assume they wouldn't change their playing style much just for that reason.
We'll have CCM, Adelaide and Brisbane coming from ACL matches, although CCM would've had a home game, so not too bad for them.
Then we'll have Victory, Adelaide and Gold Coast, who know their season is over, especially Gold Coast.

These are factors to take into consideration when choosing captains and formations.

When trading, keep in mind that, according to the official Foxsports Fantasy A-League Rules: "For the semi-finals (Finals weeks 1 and 2), six free transfers can be made between each round deadline. Unlimited free transfers can be made for the Preliminary Final and Grand Final rounds (Finals weeks 3 and 4). "

This means that we will have plenty of transfers to deal with our non-finals players when the time comes, but if your squad is filled with bottom places team players, then you may want to consider trading now as well. This then means that, also quoted from the official rules, "Participants can select up to 4 players from any one A-League team, this limit is increased to 6 for the semi-finals (weeks 1 and 2) and 8 for the preliminary final and grand final (weeks 3 and 4)."
So in terms of selecting and making transfers for your team now, don't worry about it, because finals time will make it really for us to pick a good squad.

This last important home and away round leaves us with:
Adelaide v Heart
Glory v Victory
Wellington v CCM
Sydney v Newcastle
Gold Coast v Brisbane

I will predict a lot of golas being scored in the Adelaide and Gold Coast matches, while the others i predict will be much closer.

My only pickle is that I will have 4 players who definitely are missing out on finals, with most likely one more joining them, who will need to be traded off my team for next week.
But for this week, I am aware that Velaphi is back, while Gold Coast is versing Brisbane, most likely leaving me with not much points coming from this department. :/ What do do?? o.O

For captain, i have a good feeling about either Dugandzic or Berisha...
