Umm he came out and took out Berisha's legs after he got dribbled. Kinda both.

Just saw it, and should only be the 1 game suspension. There was nothing violent about it so would just be put down as denying goal scoring opportunity

It wasn't even neccessary from Covic anway I reckon; Berisha's touch was too heavy/wide and put him a fair way away from goal...

Hmm just saw that he is suspended for 2 games, which is just stupid! It should only be 1 game!

Covic red card perfectly justified, Foschini's an over reaction. Suspect they will both end up with 2 after all the huffing and puffing...

I will be grabbing Thomas as my second keeper to cover for Covic. For those tight on funds, I wouldn't leave it too long as his price will rise rapidly during the week. Already up to $76, so grabbed him now (leaving a princely sum of $2k  ;))

Never been so happy to see a scoreless half of football. 9 man Victory were superb, but the suspension of 2 popular picks only adds to next week's woes.

With Antonis & Good missing another week, it looks like this is the two week block we have to face without the Olyroos - Don't believe the final squad has been named yet (would have to be by tomorrow to give teams time to plan). Dugandzic, Hoffman, Nichols would be certain. Not sure if they qualify/deserve a spot - Jurman, Vidosic, Djite?

We'll know soon, but combination of suspensions/Youth/Olyroos call-ups, there will be a lot of teams either looking like swiss cheese, or racking up transfer penalty points  ;D

Not sure if that was directed at me, but yes I totally agree. Was saying it was stupid him getting a 2 match ban (which I read earlier today), but glad to see it is only one as that is all it warrants.

Can someone tell me, or does anyone know, if Ali Abbas from Newcastle is playing this week? Why not if he isn't?

He is not in the squad this week Luigi, all I can figure is form (that, and the Jets keep adding strikers aged over 30 ;))

Interesting sideline, FFA have allowed Newcastle to classify him as an Aussie so they can get an extra import. Not sure how they figure that, must mean Hernandez, Van Dijk and all the others who have been here for a few years must be close to qualifying too  :P

Made a quick sideways in Foschini (Out for 2 weeks) to Rees (Gold Coast). Apparently his spot in the side is suspect, but only need a short term replacement and he seems in hot form. Good trade?

I made 2 trades this week so lost 3 points.
Trades were Rose --> Hamill and Williams --> Smeltz
Hamill scored 6 points so that was good :)
