Thanks BS. Based on your Tyson point, i was then thinking Zois from the Heart wouldve been a great grab for the old Bolton; but i read in the paper today that they just signed another keeper to make up for Bolton while he is injured for a few weeks. and also, they released Zios.. but i can still  be hopeful that he is $75 as i think he was very young..

Voldemort

I'm gonna start one even though I'm gonna fail really really badly  ::)

BlueStorm

That's the spirit Voldemort!  ;)
We'll all help where we can, and good way to keep involved over the summer months.

Voldemort

any changes need to be made? O$ left:

Ryan (Duncan)

Rose, I Franjic, Traore, Cole (Hingert)

Emerton (c), McGlinchey, Fred, Ramsay (Germano)

Williams, Djite (Broadfoot)

BlueStorm

Yep, we've got 2 running.

167-57 is the Classic League (rated on points scored overall).

We have a FanFooty Head to Head League set-up, but that already has the maximum 16 participants.

Maybe start a new Head to Head league and advertise the number here to get all late comers.

Will review your team tonight when I have more time.

Voldemort

are there any FF players on the Classic League?

BlueStorm

Aside from the 'celebrity' Fox Sports head we included, everyone else in the FanFooty classic league comes from those in this chat.

Ryan (Tyson)
Traore, Rose, Franjic, Mullen (Antonis)
McGlinchey, Slory, Fred, Kewell (Zadkovich)
Simon (c), Williams (Broadfoot)

I am thinking Antonis > Hamill and Broadfoot > Minniecon.

Downside (albeit a minor one) is it gives me three Heart players but upside is that Minniecon seems ahead of Broadfoot at GCU  :-\

I haven't read through the rules this season (I've assumed they're the same, barring the player valuation system) but can anyone confirm that 'Wildcard' is still in play this season?

Try Tsatallios as your 75k defender?

BlueStorm

Voldemort - Would ditch Duncan as 2nd keeper for either Tyson or Redmayne. Both the same price, more likely to get a gig in the event of injury, but it should be a rare day you ever need to rely on your #2. Switch Hingert to Hamill (I just did) as he will get more game time (see below though).

Suspect Ramsay will struggle for constant minutes (this is only my opinion). Suggest switching him to Pelligrino (CCM) who will get good game time while Amini misses the next 4-5 weeks. Saves you $25k to, which would finance a Broadfoot-Minniecon swap.

Unless you are related to Germano (who? ;)), recommend McDonald (CCM). While priced at $75k, he did play many games last year for NQF and is hardly a rookie.

McRooster - Howdy my Red friend. I presume we have a wildcard again this season. Had a look about and there is no rules tab I can find as per previous years. Very strange, but would be staggered if they took the feature away.

I like your team - as per second post with suggested changes. Think Hamill over Tsatallios (damn that's hard to type :P) is the way to go. Even if Tsat gets a start, I can't see Wellington defenders racking up the points this season. Hamill should get many starts with Heart, particularly if Colisimo defects to Victory (which could make him a good buy, and make Vargas far from certain starter). Bear in mind he will miss games with Olyroos, I think it maybe around 4-5 during the season, but as a back-up most weeks, he should provide better coverage and scoring.

Looking forward to our clash next week  ;) Who will you boo now Muscat is gone? Muppet chants about Harry's worth will tire quickly, I am expecting something more enlightening in the hate stakes from the Reds supporters  ;D

Alert FoxSports: Covic is a Victory player, make it so!

Grazie Luigi  ;D

Antonis > Tsatallios and Broadfoot > Minniecon.

Seems Tattslotto is quite the popular pick, with many believing he should be getting solid pitch time at 'The Cake Tin'.

**Thanks BS, having read your post as I was about to post, you give solid arguement to my conundrum....Hmmmmm?
I will stick with Tattslotto, purely because alot of teams have also and this is with the premace that I'm going to trade him anyways (ala what Sydney FC did to him). I don't want to lose ground against the mass of teams that my have him - overall ranking speaking of course.

***The burning memory of those 5 goals that Archie scored in THAT GF will assure him that he gets my loudest boos  >:( Now that scumbag neanderthal Muscat has gone, and good riddance to the pecker head!

MTTY

Here's my latest attempt

GK- Velaphi (Tyson)

DEF- Antonis, Rose, D.Mullen, Van Den Brink (Hamill)

MID- McGlinchey, Dodd(c), Kewell, Fred (Slory)

FWD- Djite, Van Dijk (Minniecon)
