hey, explain to me something BS, please, why did Nichols play for Brisbane on the weekend? wasnt he with the Olyroos?

It annoyed me too Luigi, especially when he scored that cracker of a goal. He picked up another yellow in the 1st Olyroos game, meaning he is suspended for the next. As such, he came home early and was added to the Brisbane bench at the last minute - another joke surrounding team selections in A League. I understand Roar want their player back, but hurts Fantasy players...

Two more points of note:
Adelaide face an Asian Champions League qualifying match Thursday night (complete debacle, can read about it here if want - http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/asian-champions-league/flawed-court-of-arbitration-for-sport-ruling-sees-adelaide-united-play-afc-asian-champions-league-qualifier/story-e6frf4kl-1226269715996). That means 3 games in 6 days as they face Sydney on Sat night.

You would imagine they will have little trouble disposing of the Indonesians, but keep an eye on the Reds line-up. We wouldn't want extended game time for fantasy favourites Van Dijk or Vidosic.

Sutton will play as a striker for CCM, and should start this week. I think his name is John, brother of Celtic striker Chris. He is quality - hasn't been added to the database yet, but could be a handy pick up this week with 2 winnable games for CCM (maybe another option to consider if Archie is doubtful).

If we are lucky, Sutton might do a Covic and get listed at the death...too late for me, I won't get a chance to bring him in (was hoping to Nakajima-Farran > Sutton) :'(

OK, what the hell is going on?!?

Checking for the 15th time today if Sutton is available (though I doubt I want him as a forward), and suddenly it tells me we are in lockout, even though it states a 7.55pm deadline before the 1st game.

Now I am petrified to make any changes, in case they are only counting towards NEXT week. Clowns, get your act together, please! >:(

Taken the risk and done my two trades anyway - Amini to McGlinchey (C) and Vukovic to Pasfield. Short term I know, but I need to get back into the game.

Felt confident when I did it - all transfers to be confirmed before 7.55pm Jan 17th. All good, despite the stupid countdown clock showing Round in Progress. But when I fiddle with my line-up, I notice on the right it tells me I have made 2 trades for NEXT game round.

I am going to be one pissed indivudual if FoxSports stuff this up.... >:( >:( >:(

What a round!

Finished with 76 points after i had Zwaanswijk captain for a total of 26 points, plus 11 for Halloran, 10 for Berisha and 8 for McGlinchey, plus the others.
Looked at the FF League, a lot of big scores, some biger than mine. saw that i could take top spot after "hotshots" lost; only to find out i drew to "Lamb Shanks"
At least i am still slightly 1st on total points (i think..)

Yep, a big week with popular picks like Zwaansjik (common Capt choice) & Berisha doing well.

Was relatively happy with 81, made up 80 spots. Went with McGlinchey Capt, only to see 4 players score more (Berisha, Hallaron, Zwaansjik, Pasfield).

Olyroos return this week, but be aware, reckon many won't play full game time for a week or so. Pathetic campaign by them, another 1-0 loss last night means no Olympics, and we have failed to score in 5 games. Big disappointment...

Don't think they will miss any games barring injury Luigi. The Saudi game is Wednesday next week - they will all play this weekend, and available for selection next round too. The Kiwis have a game v Jamaica on Wed night too, so keep an ear out for any injuries arising from that - mainly affects Phoenix players, but Rojas and McGlinchey could also be involved.

Bosschaart to Risdon looks a good move. Boss seems to be picking up waaaay too many yellow cards, and the Sky Blues can't keep a clean sheet so his value is dropping. Risdon has locked up his spot at Perth, and doesn't mind getting forward either. Should be good for at least an assist every 2 games.
