Also, can you think of a reason NOT to get Abbas from Newcastle? Either him or Meyer, and i dont think Meyer will be as involved. Do you think it's worth the punt?

Ciao everyone,

I've been following this post for about a week now, so I thought it was about time I listed a squad for review!
I've also listed some potential changes that could be made, and am curious as to your opinions.

Selected Squad:

GK - Ante Covic (150K), RES Tyson (75K)

DEF - Rose (225K), Traore (175K), Marrone (125K), Jurman (125K), RES Antonis (100K)

MID - Broich (300K), Miller (150K), McGlinchey (175K), RES Abbas (125K), RES Slory (50K)

FOR - Van Dijk (300K), Djite (175K), A Thompson (225K)

The must haves for me are Covic, Rose, Slory, and then Djite, the rest I am open to consideration on.

Here are some possible changes. Thoughts?

GK - Whomever the Melbourne Heart reserve keeper is.

DEF - Smith, Wilkinson (Injured), Tiago, Tsattalios (instead of Antonis, free up some cash? Mind the fact that Antonis I believe is a midfielder, potential goal threat?)

MID - The big 2, Kewell or Emerton for Broich? Nichols or Paartalu for Miller? Is McGlinchey the best option?

FOR - Van Dijk or Smeltz? Djite is a pretty good price, but how about D Williams? A Thompson the best choice given the quantity of attacking players in MVC's lineup?

Then there's the relative unknowns like FRED, any place in the lineup?
