Anyone know how he handles a tag?

Ziplock

I doubt he'll be getting it. First tag will go to ward/scully most likely.

SydneyRox

The real question should be, will he be used as the hard body tagger?

Ziplock

I don't think we'll see GWS, like GC this year, have a designated tagger. Maybe Cornes, but I dunno.

Chad "who's yer dad" Cornes is a KPP.

Never tagged in his life & if he did...he would be extremely not very well good to be doing it fail cakes.

if in the 22 for round 1 hes a lock for me,he couldnt do any worse than all first round draft picks last year besides heppell & possibly d.swallow & he will be significantly cheaper. Most non 1st rd picks are a real gamble,at least with this guy we know hes gonna play games & we know he will play midfield.

Going by his 2010 avg, pretty well.

Chad never picked up a man when he was at CHB and had an opponent!

He will be a tagger alright.... but 20 metres away doing his own thing and pointing fingers when his direct opponent gets the ball!

Kuruki

I doubt GWS would bother tagging anyone. McDonald is locked.

Will he play consistently? Everyone will have him, but is it worth having him as a 4th mid and saving money?

ando_10

he will play consistently if he wasnt going to he would just probably be one of the coaches but as 4th mid?? thats a little risky

Very risky. But if McDonald's a keeper, that really only means you're starting 2 rookies, which I think is the norm...

SydneyRox

going back to the article name though, I would be a little worried if he was your 4th Mid
