West Coast are still going, a semi-final this weekend against Carlton at Subiaco.

Carlton are yet to have lost away from Melbourne this year. To be fair though they played:
Gold Coast in their first game.
Port Adelaide who are terrible.
Fremantle who have no players.
And Sydney in the wet where the interchange ump stuffed up the game.

Thoughts on who'll win this week?

Unless Kerr and Cox dont get up, then it might be closer.

PowerBug

Yeah, if Coxy doesn't play then Carlton will have an advantage in the ruk with Warnock and Kreuzer. Hopefully Kerr is back to help out the mids.

If you restrict Carltons big three Murphy, Gibbs and Judd and I think you can you will win. Selwood on Murphy will probably be the key.

Really depends completely on whether the West Coast Mids can outplay the Carlton ones
What they did wrong against collingwood

I think it will come down to the eagles v Judd and Murphy if both of them pla great games i can see them winning but if judd is quiet again i cant see them beting the eagles at home

what they did wrong was bomb it inside 50, picked off easy by the returning trio (Maxwell, Davis, Shaw) and played them into form!  :o

if they send it inside 50 again without any structure will be Carlton's game to lose ...
think all the coasters can do is limit the damage of Carlton's midfield ...  :o

judd's had 3 very quiet matches in a row...watch out west coast the mvp is coming for you

Yeah but that was because of the poor midfield organisation compared to the superior collingwoods  :-\

Actually, the game will be won and lost in the forward and defensive zones of each club.

West Coast can afford to bomb it in against the undersized (and undermanned) Carlton defense. Provided West Coast can hold Betts and Garlett and restrict their scoring potential, their forward line will get enough of the ball (and lock enough of it into their forward line via the press) to win the game.

Kerr back and Cox playing - should be a good win for West Coast. Just cant see Carlton beating us, especially with Gibbs out, Kruezer unfit and Waite not playing.

Memphistopheles

Without Kreuzer and Gibbs likely to be missing I think we will easily beat Carlton.

Cox should play, but if he doesn't we have enough flexibility to use Lynch and Nic Nat in the ruck.

I think a six goal win would be my prediction.
